    A) Some little man is sneaking in at night, and smashing your graphics card. B) You are sleepwalking at night, and bust your graphics card. C) Dorm room member/s, are busting your graphics card while you are asleep, or gone. Now care to explain what 'Busted' means in reference to a graphics/video card? Post back in a Comment.

When i plug in the speakers no sound is coming out it doesn't work correctly i cant hear anything i'm playing.

Hi taceeg06,
Have you check all the Volume setting on you computer?
On the lower right side look for the computer Icon check if there is a red X on the speaker Icon, if there is then it can be that here is something wrong with the speaker driver or it does not detect the speakers.
If you do not see the speaker Icon then the Driver for the Audio card is not installed on the computer and you may need to re install that Audio Card Driver to be able to regain the audio from your Speakers.
Also the speakers should connect to the Green Audio Jack behind the computer, if it is then still no Audio you can try the Audio Jack in front of the computer as well to check the Audio Card in the Machine, if the front and back audio jacks do not detect nor produce sound when the speakers are connected then re installing the driver for the Audio card may work, unless during the installation an error shows that the there is no audio device detected then it means the Audio Card is busted.
Let us hope not since it is very seldom an Audio Card could go busted.
I hope this helps.
Have nice day,
mvincentc

Got red and green lines going vertical up an down my screen. What does that mean and I need to do to fix it

Welcome to fix ya

Problems with the display is usually caused by video card driver problems. You can download video your card driver here www.support.dell.com

Once on the website it would ask for your service tag. The service tag of your system is located on the bottom of the system. (usually on a black sticker). Install the driver and restart the computer.

The motherboard has always beeped twice and then booted up. In the last few days it has started beeping repeatedly but never actually comes on. I am getting no video just a beep every 3-4 seconds.

This beep code indicated a video card problem. Reseat the video card to see if it fixes your problem, if not then the video card is faulty and needs to be replaced with a new one and install its video driver.

Monitor will not light up

this has 3 possible reasons

1.) your RAM has busted
2.) your video card is busted
3.) your power supply is busted

try to replace each part with a spare one to check which is causing the problem then get a new piece of that device

Hello i want to know what the difference between an integrated video card and a dedicated video card, which has more capacity and what is best for play the latest games

Integrated generally means it is part of the motherboard and not a removable card. Integrated can also mean a card that does multiple tasks like Graphics & Modem & Printer. Dedicated would indicate a removable card that does only graphics and not other tasks. A dedicated graphics card would almost always work better. They have more capacity and work faster.

You can add a graphics card to pretty much any newer computer fairly easily now days. Check your computer manual to be sure what type of video card you will be able to use.

hi! there,
there are common factors why no video on your screen.,right one factor is ram,the other are video card, processor and monitor
you can't trouble shoot with out other computer available, tester cann't detected all this,it make easy to parts to parts.disconnect cd room, hardisk and floopy also disconnect your video card and memory card put video card and ram one by one (if youhave nultiple ran) to other computer ,be sure other computer is run good and observed, if no video take the previous video card and put back if there video, possible your video card is busted,or try to put other video card and ram to your pc be sure this are good,if ok select your own part that you think is busted since you said your ram is good, put back to your pc observed.....replace aby busted parts,
take all precaution avoid electric shock wear safety shoes.regards and have a nice day

Acer laptop wont't turn up...

yo...

good to hear... least we know what is wrong...

so it can be one of 3 things... the first 2 are the most common and the last one can happen but I haven't seen it happen too often.

1. LCD control board is busted. Usually a circuit board that controls the picture going to the LCD screen. Usually built into the LCD monitor.

2. LCD screen is busted. The screen itself is busted.

3. Video card on the laptop is busted.

I'm going with 3 as you typed the system can't find the video card on the laptop. Try going to device manager and try to see if the computers/windows detects the video card. If it pops up you can try re-installing the drivers for the video card.

Check for any "Unknown" devices as that might be the video card itself.

Let me know what you found...

P.S. please rate my Solutions... Thanks
