When I set up my webcam had same problem until I changed the preset audio hookup/setup from the prefilled option to the Lifecam one. You need to click on it & it will appear as a dropdown option, then click on it. The option appears when you go into the audio portion & the words appear asking you to speak until the yellow shows in the bar. I believe the option is just before or after that screen. Good luck.

I need to connect a mixer to a yamaha rx-aq1000, in order to be able to mix any signal going thru the unit, with guitar, microphones, and input it back to play. Since this unit does not have an adapter...

Finally someone who understands tape loops. But, alas, I don't see how you can mix and monitor simultaneously on this receiver. The AV Out is the best bet for getting analog audio out but there's no way to get it back without de-selecting whatever source you're using. Bummer.

I also went there to see what was going on for the life of me I could not get it to play video as well. I could hear audio this is not on your end it has to do with video quality of the upload or if it was in audio format or MP3 I even checked other placed to find this and they all went YouTube. Thanks for using FixYa! It is not on your end it just is what it is. Try to do a search that has a video not using YouTube I did not find any. Sorry maybe someone else knows where to go with this. I have curtis htib 1000 and it make a buzzing and humming sound and i wanted if someone can repair it for me

There are a few things that can cause this but two in particular are the most common. One is a ground loop. If you have multiple pcs of equipment hooked up a ground loop can be created. Ground loops are basically different grounds that are not held at the same potential. The second could be a power supply filter cap is going bad or possibly not in the circuit. Capacitors filter out the 60Hz noise after the AC is rectified. Any 60 hz getting into your amp will cause it to hum.

Hum niose in my onkyo tx-sr804

Hi there, sounds like you have a ground loop happening there. Check out ground loops in google to get some tips. What you should try is use one wall plug for everything (with an adapter on it) and check that none of your other cables are damaged. try find new cables and put them in place of the old seemingly fine cables.
