Question about Atari 2600 Console
We have just purchased Atari 2600 Console without an adapter.
What power adapter is required volts/amps?
How can I find out if its the power adapter or the Atari 2600?
The Atari 2600 adapter has the following information on it:
Input: 120V AC 60Hz 12W
Output: 9V DC 500mA
Make sure you test the power supply before you use it. I have 2 original atari power supplies, and they are both putting out about 15V DC, which may be why my atari's aren't working anymore!

The voltage is 9v. You can buy a universal adapter off of ebay.
