Samsung messenger phone stuck in silent mode

How to know if your Samsung Phone has a vibration feature.

Press and hold the # key. Phone will enter to silent mode. You will feel it vibrate. Select a phone profile and edit it. You will be able to find the vibration option in the "call type".

If the phone does not vibrate while entering the silent mode, it means it does not have the vibration feature.

Press and hold the pound key (#) until it exits silent mode.

"Quickly Switching to Silent Mode
Silent mode is convenient when you wish to stop the
phone from making noise, in a theater for example.
In Idle mode, press and hold the "#" key until the “Silent
Mode” message and the Vibration icon display...

To exit and reactivate the previous sound settings, press
and hold the # key again until “Exit Silent Mode” appears.
The Vibration icon no longer displays."

Try holding down the number sign, #, until it says "Exit Silent Mode".

To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Mode
Step 1
To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, hold down the pound key (#) for about 2 seconds. To exit Silent / Vibrate Mode, perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode. You will see a confirmation message for Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, each time you enter or exit Silent / Vibrate Mode.
The SCH-U470 (Juke) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent Vibrate Only Mode.
Step 2
While in standby mode, press the volume key, located on the left side of the handset, then select either “Vibrate Only", “Alarm Only” or “All Sounds Off”. To disable perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Mode.
The SCH-U470 (Juke) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode.

May be your phone ******** is not working. Mainly it is above your cell's screen. Simply give it to service center. Regards Mohit

Haha I had the same problem hold down the button on the bottom right which is the pound key. and itll come out of silent mode.

go to tone setting-alert function-select ring only.

All you have to do is hold the pound (#) button down. It will then say exit silent mode. If you ever want to put your phone back in silent mode, just hold the pound (#) button down.
