a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Those terminals on a ductless split are reserved for the communication wires from the out door to indoor unit. L L N should be line 1, line 2, and neutral (ground) there should be a 1 2 3 N terminal block in the indoor unit also, those terminals would most likely be for the communication between the two units.

I have a maintainance manual for this engine (I have the same one) with pages of wiring diagrams. What specific system/area are you interested in, I could scan in the page(s) and email them to you.

There should be a large, easy to read diagram under the cover once you remove it from the heater. Is the one under your missing or unreadable? Hayward doesn't publish one on their tech website or residential documents page so I have an email into our tech support contact asking for one in case yours is missing. If you find it under the cover please add a comment to that effect. FIXYA website has not been letting me post pictures lately so getting you the info may be a little difficult.
