SOURCE: A short in the pto wiring perhaps?

Form what you are desribing you have a direct short, probaly in the wiring going to pto. I t has rubbed somewhere and is causing your short. Unplug the wires at connector close to your pto clutch and try it again and see if fuse stuill blows after you unhook it.

If the fuse still blows it is in the wiring going back up to thje switch. If the fuse does not blow after unhooking wiring connector the problem is in the clutch.

SOURCE: finding the oil plug on Cub Cadet LT 1050 with Cohler engine

It is probably on the right side in the middle of the engine. It should have a yellow cap on the end of the drain. Take the cape off and slide about a 12" piece of 5/8" x 1/2" clear vinyl tubing (available at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.) on the end, turn the plastic body to the left (about 1/4") and pull out about a 1/4". Oil will flow. Reverse to shut off.

SOURCE: how do i reset the change oil light on a 1040 cub

The Service Monitor meter contains a service minder function that utilizes the 4-digit LCD display. The letters "CHG" will display followed by the letters "OIL" and then followed by the meter accumulated time. "CHG"/"OIL"/TIME will alternate on the display for five(5) minutes after the meter reaches 50 hours. The display will also flash as described above for five(5) minutes every time the tractor has been started during the maintenance time interval. The interval will occur every 50 hours and will be in effect for two(2) hours ( Example: this feature will display from 50-52 hrs., 100-102 hrs., 150-152 hrs etc...). While the LCD is displaying the "CHG"/"OIL"/TIME letters, the red LED "oil symbol" will also be flashing for the entire five(5) minutes. The meter display will return to normal function automatically after the reminder maintenance time interval of two(2) hours. There is no method of manually re-setting this Service Monitor gauge.

Why does the oil keep blowing back up the dipstick of my BMW 320D while the car is running?

back pressure from your motor while running. Tip: you should never check your oil while motor is running. You will never get an accurate reading. And never leave the cap on your valve covers off or loose while running your vehicle. It will blow your oil out, then you will freeze up your motor or blow your pistons out. (blow your motor up!)

Fan sluggish - can it be oiled? Unit manufactures May 1989, not used for 10 years. Cools properly.

It is possible that it may be oiled. Look on the motorcasing on the top and bottom rim and see if there are small plugs. They may be plastic, aluminum,or rubber. They may be caps on spring loaded hinges. If you find any of these then you can remove the plugs or open the caps and put a few drops of fine grade machine oil in them.If you put too much in it it will just run out.
Lots of motors do not have any oil ports as they are sealed bearing. About all you can do is use compressed air with a air wand to blow out any dirt or other debris. Blow thru the cooling ports on the motor to get it as clean as you can and then you can put a few drops of oil on the shaft where it comes out of the motor. Best of luck. Thank you

Dv55ip empire wall gas furnace, the fan is very loud, needs help what to do.

Buday, it sounds like the blower fan and motor needs cleaning and oiling. This should be done annually and you can do it yourself. This should quite things down a bit.

According to your Owners Manual, here's what you need to do.

Servicing and Oiling the Fan Motor:
The fan motor should be cleaned and oiled once each heating season.
To reach the motor, withdraw the metal shroud surrounding the fan
blade by removing the screws on each side. Oil holes are located
on the top at each end of the motor. Use a few drops of #10 motor
oil. To clean the motor, blow air through its ventilation openings
with a vacuum cleaner or low pressure air source (canned air with a
straw nozzle like you clean your computer with works well).

I have an 1987 toyota pickup 4x4 with a 22R motor that I just rebiult and now its blowing oil from the top of the motor and cant find out where! do you have any hints?

Hi, boy I have been there before. Clean up the old oil as best you can. Stop and think which I am sure you have. How many places on top would there be oil for it to blow from? Crankshaft seal, valve cover cracked, Head cracked that you didn't see.. Pull your plugs and check them for oil fouling. Distributor seated properly with gaskets in place.Intake manifold gasket in place and tight? If its shooting up enough, you can take a clean dry piece of card board large enough to place over the motor, try starting it and let it run for a few seconds, and see if you have a splash pattern on it. This will narrow it down. I have used this method and it does work. Keep me posted and please rate me, and be kind. That would be kind of you. Let me know the out come. Also, if a oil pressure gauge was added, make sure the tubing is not cracked or broke in half. The oil pump is good and strong, so you should find it by checking these things.
I wish you the best,

Blowing oil on an 8HP craftsman snowblower

That is a breather tube, I can't picture the motor off the top of my head but that tube is either connected to the valve cover or if the tube seems to go up over the motor then that tube goes down into the motor. If it's the one thats connected to the valve cover then it's possible there is to much oil in the valve box. If it's the one that seems to go up over the top and in then if your just alittle to much over full you'll get oil out of that tube cause that tube sits alittle above the oil level. If your oil level is right on the line then I would run it for a bit then check the oil level. If the level is still good then you should be ok but keep an eye on it if it continues to blow oil out I would take it in to get looked at futher.
