Question about KitchenAid KGRA806PSS Gas Kitchen Range
I have a Kitchenaid gas range model no. KGRA806PSS.
The other burners ignite and the ignition spark works well. The problem occurs only with the triple tier burner. It malfunctions every so often. Sometimes it lights fine, sometimes it will only light if another burner is lit as well, sometimes the problem just goes away after trying and scrubbing the burner base and the cap.
The thing is that the burner base and cap never seem to have anything on them so I don't see how scrubbing it helped. I wonder if the gas tube has something in it? It also seems that not enough gas is coming to the burner as sometimes it will only light if another burner is already lit.
Another issue is that the large burner base seems a bit loose. Would that interfere with the gas coming the burner? It hardly seems possible since the gas comes in a tube.
Do we have to remove the base and drill out the holes or buy a new one? What do you suggest?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I have a Kitchen Aid gas stove. All the burners will not light. No clicking, NOTHING. Is there a lighting switch or something that needs to be replaced ?? Or do I replace all 4 lighters ??

SOURCE: Gas Range, trouble igniting
It is likely that the ignitor needs to be replaced. If the range does not sense the correct amount of resitance in the ignitor it turns the gas valve off. When the ignitor is starting to fail the problem is intermittent, so the range turns on and off as you have described.

Bad power source. Not getting 240 volts to oven. reset breaker by turng off the back on for the stove. 240 volt double breaker. If this doesn't work problem will be where stove plugs in.
