This is the same unit I have. Simply connect a 4-pin to 4-pin Firewire cable between the computer and the camera. (Port is under the lens, under a smal rubber cap. Once the connection is made, turn on the camera, and it should appear on your mac as a new fixed drive. Import your files normally from there.

Hope this helps!

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You can use Pavtube HD Video converter for mac to transcode MP4 video to Apple InterMediate Codec (AIC) for iMovie editing, this method you don't need to render.

Importing HD video on a Mac

mac

hi there

have you tried a different medium to which you transfer the videos? what i mean is a different software of your choice.

have you tried also using a driver which your cam is compatible for your mac? most probable cause that you cant import those videos is that your mac itself does not have the correct drivers for the specific files to be imported to.

hope this helps.

Try replacing the inverter board. If that don't help then the next step is the back light, but replacing it is a bi.ch, so most people just replace the whole screen. Also, check that the video cable wire is not crimped/cut and securely fastened onto the logic board.

How do you get videos from a cannon elura 85 onto iMovie?

Use wall power, not battery power. Set camera to Play (not PC Connect)

Open iMovie, wait a minute or so for import screen. If it does not come up, click the camcorder button.

Download movie to computer

I have an elura 65 and I believe this model does not let you download your movies onto the computer in full motion. you can only do it through quicktime or some other similar program using less frames. the higher models: elura 70 etc. are supposed to be capable of transferring full motion film. that's what I understood from the owners manual. hope this helps

Help me! import to PC

I don't think it will be possible to import moving image (live video). I have got a digital camera and all of those pin cables, but the result is nothing. The only one way (at least I suppose that) to do what you want is to have a web cam. Those cams are specialized devices to import moving image to computers.
