How do i change the filter as the thermostat inducates it needs to be changed, where do i get he filter?

The thermostat is just indicating that your furnace filter needs to be replaced. There is not a filter on the thermostat. Go to your furnace, there should be a door that is concealing the filter or there will be a slot on the side that has the furnace filter in it. Pull it out and the size will be written on it clearly. YOu can get a filter at any hardware store or home improvement store.

Check the drain on the humidifier (at the bottom there is a drain which should be attached to some type of hose that drains into your sump or other wastewater orifice)...

check the filter (remove the lid and the filter is that corrugated metal type thing (it may be clogged causing overflow - you can replace it for about 7bucks at home depot)
also check that the water line (should be attached to the black plastic frame is attached and the water is going into the top part of the black filter holder)
check that the filter is sandwiched properly within the black plastic holder
lastly check the actual holes in the black plastic filter holder to make sure they are not clogged
remember to bring the old filter to confirm size for the replacement

When & how do we clean humidifier filters?

annually, every fall before use, most humidifiers utilize a evaporative water panel not a filter. how depends on the type of humidifier, most have to be dis-assembled, as well as changing the water panel operation of the unit should be verified as often the water orifice or solenoid will plug up. if you are not familiar with it likely best to contact a professional. Normally less costly to do this in conjunction with annual heating system maintenance.

How do you change the filters in a Honeywell F300A-1625 Electronic Air Cleaner ?

Hi,

Locate your furnace and the filter compartment. This compartment is normally covered by a strip of metal that slides in and out of place. Step2 Determine the size of the air filter that needs to be replaced. The sizes are noted on the side and usually appear as 16x24 inches and other similar sizes. Step3 Purchase a replacement filter in the size required for your system. There are a variety of filters to choose ranging from the inexpensive standard spun glass filters to pricier synthetic polyester fibers. Step4 Consider high efficiency filters if you live in warmer, dustier climates as they do more than just capture dust particles. The high efficiency filters can trap tiny particles of dust, pollen, mold and other irritants. Step5 Look at hepa filters and filters coated with chemicals to kill bacteria if allergies and other irritants are a concern for your family, . Step6 Use a black permanent marker when you change the filter. When you slide up the metal guard, note the direction of the air flow marked on the side of the old filter and draw arrows in the same direction on the metal guard. This way you will have no question which direction to insert the new filter. Step7 Replace high efficiency filters at least 4 times per year. Read the manufacturer's label as most recommend changing your air filter on a monthly basis. (High efficiency filters do have a longer life expectancy than the less expensive spun-fiber filters.
