SOURCE: need help uninstall

The first and easiest way to fix this type of problem is to reinstall the program, reboot the computer and then run the un-installer again.

If not then a manual removal is needed and can be more complicated to complete.

Let me know how is works out for you.

Uninstall XP Professional

If the computer was upgraded, then go into START | CONTROL PANEL | ADD/REMOVE Programs, see if uninstall Windows XP Pro is there. If it is you can uninstall it and not loose anything and the computer will reveert back to the operating system that was on there, before th upgrade.

Sometimes it is there, sometimes not.

If that doesn't work, then go to START | CONTROL PANEL | ADD/REMOVE Programs | windows components, and take out any uneeded components. Also check your system tray (bottom right by the clock) and see if there are eny programs there that you can close or better still uninstall as they eat memory and slow down your system.
