Garmin 760 Blutooth pairing

Have a Garmin 760 tried to pair to my Verizon GZ one Boulder cell phone, both devices find each other but when asked to pair the two they will not. I upgraded the firmware on both devices, still wont work. Tried my wifes LG bluetooth with the 760 it will not pair either.
Any Ideas?

I also have the 760 & the first gen Boulder (before the front speaker was added). I had the same issue with the M07 firmware (the latest you can get over the air), but took it into a Verizon store & updated it to M09. I am now able to pair the two devices.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Pairing bluetooth motorola W755 phone to Garmin nuvi 760

I left the Garmin in passive mode and had just the phone do a search for new bluetooth devices and it worked fine. So my advice is , if the Garmin instructions don't work, try this method.

Garmin 760 phone feature

Did you check the settings for the sound output? If it is set to FM-receiver, you have to tune your radio to the same frequency as the 760 transmitting frequency. To get sound from 760-device, you must deselect the FM-transmitting feature.
(I don´t think this solves your problem. Too obvious.)
