SOURCE: Paper Jam

I have just had the same problem on one of these Canon MF4150 machines.
The manufactures warranty on our machine had expired just one week before this happened so I had to fix this myself.
The problem we had (which is very likely to be the same cause as yours) is when we removed some torn jammed paper, it had somehow pulled off a spring from inside the machine. The spring was linked to the paper jam sensor.
It does involve a LOT of work to fix it, and unless you are very 'techy' it may be quite a difficult task to do this for the 'average' person.
I had to completely disassemble the machine: Take off the front first (lift up the cover and there is 2 screws at the front and 2 clips on the bottom of the machine) Then remove the 2sides and finally the top (screws should be easy to see, to get the sides off, un-clip along the front edges and gently move them outwards and slide them backwards to release the clips on the back) being careful with the wires going to the scanner part). Then look for the fuser unit which is near the top at the back, there is a black rounded cover over the fuser. To remove the cover, look for 2 small clips one at each side and unclip the cover and gently lift upwards.  Under the cover on the left side you will see a small plastic rod which goes from the left side to a small tab in the middle, if you look about half way along that rod you should see a tiny spring, make sure this is clipped on properly and that you are able to rotate the rod and it should spring back to the proper position when you let go.
Once this is done, put it all back together again and it should work fine.

I'm sure a lot of other people probably have this same problem too so I hope this helps someone.

SOURCE: paper jam

I had the same problem. What I did : I placed a thicker paper in the tray and when the scanner starts pulling the sheet, push the paper a bit forward so it will remove any debris that may causing the problem. It worked for me. Try a few times. Hope it helps you.

SOURCE: HP deskjet F380 - 'status: paper jam'. There is no paper jam!

Unplug the power cord and while doing that make sure printer is powered on i mean do not turn off the printer using the power button. When you unplug the power cord than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Than release the power button and connect the power cord and then try to print.

0.gif Re: Samsung CLP 300n paper jam at exit by michelsmith u.gif (6/8/10 8:09 PM) reply + / - The printer has several sensors inside to sense paper jams. A small piece of paper may be stuck on one of them, or perhaps some other debris (e.g. piece of cloth or a wad of dust). Try to shine a flashlight directly into the printer and see if you can find the debris. If not, try to blow air from a compressed air can (like an office duster) into the printer, use short gentle bursts.
If you still have a paper jam, take the paper out, disconnect the wires and tilt the printer from side to side in your hands. Then reconnect and try again.

If after all this you still have the jam error, one of the sensors may be faulting or may have been damaged when you removed the paper jam. You will have to get your printer serviced.

Magicolor 2400w gives paper jam error at transfer roller, after I cleaned the printer -laser head.

My 2400W was standing a long time without being used, and when I wanted to use it, it made a very faint image and showed "paper jam at transfer roller". Also, the image stayed on the transfer belt, but never got transferred to the paper. I tried a lot of things, nothing worked, but the message from weirdal1968 above pointed me in the right direction.

I eventually scratched / scrubbed / cleaned the copper pad on the left side of the optical imaging drum - this copper pad probably receives the bias voltage for the imaging drum from a springy stainless steel wire. There was some visible darkening of the copper pad where the stainless steel wire touched, this is what I cleaned. And then, presto, problem solved - the image came out great, and no more "paper jam at transfer roller" error message.

The paper feeder of my canon super g3 jams every time

Yes, there is an easy solution, possibly. Mainly because you say it may do a single job, and then it keeps jamming. Do you see the second sheet jamming in when it is not called for? Anyhow, you may try cleaning the rollers, all of them, like I did here: http://annoyances-resolved.blogspot.com/2009/09/paper-jam-buy-new-laser-printer.html This completely solved my problem of persistent paper jams.

Samsung ML2010 printer; paper jam

Lise, That is VERY similar to what I experienced yesterday. You can probably fix this by cleaning the rollers (all of them) thoroughly. See what I did exactly, and find directions to all the rollers from your manufacturer: http://annoyances-resolved.blogspot.com/2009/09/paper-jam-buy-new-laser-printer.html

Let me know if that helped you as it helped me solve the problem completely.
