Question about Washing Machines

1 Answer

Stop in the middle of circle

Hi,
I have just got a second hand washing machine when I tried it. It couldn't finish any circle. It always fill the water and agitate a while and then nothing happened further. The previous owner did not plug it in and I did not try it there. They just told me they did not have issue although they haven't used it for quiet while and it has been put outside room on the porch for a while. When I moved this machine to my apartment I put it side way on the machine's back instead of upright because my wagon couldn't fit it upright. Could be that do any damage to it? Or this machine has been like that even before I try? Anyway is there a quick fix to this. Thanks

Does anyone know how to check a fuse in my Bosch Maxx 1000 washing machine??

Try it in a different socket as it may not be the machine. The machine would have been factory fitted with a moulded plug, lift out the middle section and try a new fuse. If the unit failed after filling then possibly you have a short on the wash heater..you could verify this if you get power by setting a cold cycle or rinse and see if if completes it. Please also check that the consumer unit (main fuse box) has not been triggered.

WASHING CYCLE STOPS AFTER A MINUTE

Can you skip through the programme to drain? Press pause button. then press start to move the lights down to the empty cycle. leave to finish.

If you have already tried this, I can explain how to put machine into engineer test mode, which will then give out a fault code to identify problem.
