-   My LG 50" plasma tv did the same thing. I was watching when I heard a loud pop and then no picture. It is 2 1/2 years old. Thanks for the info that this is a problem with LG.-   Guest

-   I had one do that 3 different times, power supply is most likley the problem, LG knows these are a problem, call their tech support and do not take NO for an answer, Be persistent and go up the chain of command it worked for me 3 times, Good Luck -   gradyo
