HDMI medplayer keeps shutting down !!!!!!

I have an HDMI media bank & hard disk av player, It says it plays mp3-wav-jpeg-avi-vob-dat-asf-mpeg files is HD ready has HDMI USB and E-SATA. Now the problem Im having is when I turn it on it only lasts around 8 - 10 mins and then it goes to standby powers on then standby and so on and so fourth but when i let it sit for a while it starts like normal and then again it shuts down starts up then shuts down into standby mode then starts up again. Is it due to over heating or a setting or software issues. It says in the manual that powering down before up grade finishes will encounter down system. I recieved the product in this manner and it came with no warranty. Can anyone Help me please.

Hi, the best you can do right now is to take it to a service centre so they could restore it to factory default to correct the software conflict.
