Hi.
We can check the memory allocation.

Turn key to program mode.
5 SUBTOTAL SUBTOTAL (must press subtotal twice).

This will print memory allocation.
Look down the printout and tell me what figures are listed under file numbers 16 and 40.

I would take it back to your dealer and get them to allocate all of the scanning PLUs. You may require more RAM to get them. It looks like you have 1000 available at the moment, so if you have entered that many, then the file probably is full.
Another test would be to delete a couple of scanning PLUs and then see if it will allow you to add new ones. The scanning PLU system is quite complicated and your dealer should have given you the instructions for managing the scanning PLUs.

I haven't worked on these in a few years. Normally your dealer would give a training session as scanning is the most complicated setup on a register. As I remember, it is part of the direct maintenance programming for scanning PLUs. Also, check the amount of scanning PLUs you have allocated. The dealer would normally supply backup software such as Casio CV when you bought it so you don't lose all of your PLUs when files become full or corrupted. There is a site which has the dealer type manual. If you don't have it, you won't have all of the scanning codes:

Hope this helps.

What 2200 reset

Since your question is very poor, I'll assume you mean a full program clear on a Casio TE-2200. This machine requires the codes which you get from the dealer manual to reset it. Casio don't give out these codes but one of the users has the dealer programming manual here:

How do i reset the casio te-2200-1 cash register till back to its manufacture settings

This is not advisable as you will lose a large amount of settings and data. If you are not familiar with memory allocation procedure, key allocation procedure, machine features settings and function settings, then it would pay to avoid a full RAM clear. It would be much easier to edit the existing programming to suit your business.
If you still want to RAM clear the machine and start again, you will need the tables from the Casio TE-2200 dealer manual:
http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2200_and_TE-2400_dealers_manual.html

To program the basics such as Item names/ prices and receipt message, the user manual is what you need:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2200_users_manual.html

Ok. I need to know these things:
1. which country is it being used in? 2. Do you want a PIN number to log staff on, or just simple log on? 3. Do you have a row of buttons next to the key called CLERK or CASHIER? 4. Will you be using a bar code scanner?

Casio TE 2200 0 instead of 0.00 I just bought the new te 2200 but i can not programing. is that the problem with mac code ?

Yes. This machine has not had a RAM clear and system settings performed. Take it back to the dealer and ask them to perform the dealer programming on it, then you can program the user data for products etc yourself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If anyone needs a Casio TE-2200 manual, go here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2200_users_manual.html

Yes, u need to do it in PGM3 to change price for scanning PLU. The PGM1 is for Normal PLU price change.

Of course , u can use Casio CV-10 software to do the price change too.

Creating new items in casio te 2200

Hi.
If you are selling different products, you will need to re-program your PLUs. If you are selling the same products, then you can transfer your PLUs via the CF card to the new machine. I have never seen any way to edit products with Excel. The data is not stored in a database format.
If you buy your products from a large supplier, they will sometimes have PLU dumps available for some models of register. Phone around and find out.
