Changing the blades on the Set 735-61 c helicopter

There are no instructions in the box that describe how to change the main blade assembly on this helicopter yet they come with a replacement assembly. This product is very delicate and I do not want to force any of the components. Look forward to help with this problem.

I have a similar problem. I have a 735-61A. It must be possible to replace them as I just bought some new ones from a company in Hong Kong over eBay. I'm now just scratching my head wondering how to get the original rotors off without breaking anything else.

I have the 735-61A and similarly can get new blades. Does anyone out there know how to get the broken ones off and the new ones on?

I broke two and tried to repair one by scavanging parts. The 735 set isn't built with replacment in mind. Throw it away start over. I see the micro mosquito as the most durable and easy to repair indoor rc heli

I have the same problem too what you need to do is to get the replacement parts and try to release the upper rotor blade by twitching it back and forth until it releases. it will take time don't despair, in the end it will be release since they glue it with super glue. afterward release all the other parts remember their order. Thats it you need to have patient try not to bent the main rotor shaft .

As Ronen suggested, just twitch the top rotor back and forth, while holding the lower wheel firmly. I used needle nose plyers, but very gently, and over a period of about 30 minutes, until the wheel on the bottom finally started to give. Eventually, I was able to slip it past the end. At that point, I just slide the shaft out of the body, and replaced the lower blade.

Incidentally, I asked the vendor that sold me the parts (, and they answered: "just use a screwdriver." Pathetic. Nevertheless, they did come through with the parts, just don't have your hopes up that they know how to use them.

I don't think you can , You can only replace the tail rotor. I would try sending it in to the company.

How do I change S022 frequency

They come set to a frequency the sticker on the helicopter and hand remote must correspond eg 27mHz both have to be same so if you wanted to change it you would need a new PCB circuit board and hand controller on the same frequency.

Kind regards, Julian

Helicopter not stable

Hi, I had a toilet bowl effect after changing the blades on my s107g. After making sure the shaft was seated properly, I simply adjusted the tension on the screws holding the blades in position and after a bit of trial and error tightening and loosening: it's as good as new!

My helicopter wont fly the main propellers on top of the helicopter stopped working

either stripped the main gear inside the heli or the main blades where they slide on the shaft. you should be able to buy a replacement set of blades. try that and see if it'll fly.

John Lewis mini helicopter gear wheels dropped

Yes, I had exactly the same problem, the lower blades can actually move a little on the shaft, if the helicopter takes a big knock then they move up so much that the shaft drops so that the gears no longer engage.

To fix it just squeeze the lower blades towards the gear, I did this by putting a finger on each side of the lower blade next to the shaft and my thumbs against the lower gear so you are squeezing along the shaft. The lower blade will then move down, however if it moves too much it will jam against the main body of the helicopter so you will need to pull it back appart a little so the bottom blades move freely.

My john lewis mini helicopter auto stability control not flying

I had a similar problem with mine, check if the central shaft on which the blades turn hasn't become lose and is no longer engaging the gears on the underside of the helicopter.

If the whole shaft can move up and down then this probably means it has come loose, you can solve this by squeezing the lower set of blades towards the bottom gear with your fingers. You should feel the bottom blades move slightly down, if you push them too far they will stick against the main body so you might need to pull them up slightly.

I have an apache 3 channel helicopter.the top blades no longer spin so the helicopter just spins clockwise very quickly

Same problem I had. There are two motors. One to spin the top blade and a second to spin the bottom. My motor was defective out of the box to spin the top blade. Very poor quality as my AH 64 had a bad circuit board. I had to take parts from one to fix the other.

Heli max hicro helicopter just keeps spinning in circles

Spinning is caused by one of the main propellers rotating faster than the other. If both propellers are secured tightly to their drive shafts, the spin control knob on the remote control can be used to stop the spin. However, if one prop is slipping with respect to the other, the spin control knob will not fix the problem.
I've found that the set screws holding the propellers to the drive shafts tend to loosen after a while. If one prop is a bit loose and the other is tight, the relative slippage will cause the helicopter to spin.
To check, turn off helicopter power and manually rotate each propeller separately, watching the nylon gears in the body. If the propeller is moving and its drive shaft gear isn't, the propeller is slipping because its set screws are not applying enough pressure on the propeller's drive shaft.
Carefully tighten the set screw and the problem should be fixed. DON'T OVERTIGHTEN, or the plastic threads for the set screw will be stripped and the propeller assembly will be ruined.

Main Rotor Blade - spare part

This website sells them:

Look under 2-Channel Helicopters and find the Double Horse 9086, click on it for more details.
The parts are at the bottom of the page.

I bought a set (2 bottom & 2 Top) recently for $15.00. They ship via USPS First Class mail so the shipping is only about $3.00.
