    Tried installing Music Center PRO on a VISTA (Home premium) operated laptop and it hogged all 2GB of memory and still wouldn't work. While installing it the unistall program did not install properly so now I can't remove the program properly. Very disappointing!

SOURCE: Claris Draw v1.0v3 will not start with XP

Right click on the Claris Draw program icon and open properties box. Then select "Compatibility" tab.

Under Compatibilty tab, check "Run this Program in compatability mode for:"

Select Windows 98/ Windows ME option from drop down menue.

Make sure "Claris" folder is in C:\Windows

Now do following whenever you thereafter want to run Claris Draw:

Try to open the Claris Draw program and you should get message saying it can't find Claris directory.
In the message box, browse down to Claris directory and double left click it.
Then left click on any file in the Claris directory window.
Now left click on the Claris directory again, but hold the left mouse button down.
The OK button should stay lit while you are holding the left mouse button down.
While still holding the left mouse button down, press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
Claris draw should now run.

This nutty start up procedure seems a little complated, but once you get the hang of it, it takes only a few seconds to do it.

SOURCE: iTunes installation problem

This happens occasionally when downloading something, a portion becomes corrupted. Try throwing that one away, redownload, and it should work. If it doesn't restart computer and then try installing the freshly downloaded one again.

SOURCE: Windows Movie Maker wont Publish video

Random suggestion that you have likely already tried. After you uninstalled did you go to your c drive, program files and delete the folder? I had issues with another program and found that the existing folder was the problem. After I deleted it and rebooted and then installed again it worked perfectly.

What are the pros and cons of upgrading your OS from win7 starter to windows 7 ultimate? Given that the processor is N450 on a netbook.

Hello,

There are basically no con's to upgrading. You will gain some features when you upgrade. You may have to install new device drivers for some devices like mouse, external hard drive to work properly, but this is unlikely.

Windows 7 Starter does not include:

* Aero Glass, meaning you can only use the Windows Basic or other opaque themes. It also means you do not get Taskbar Previews or Aero Peek.
* Personalization features for changing desktop backgrounds, window colors, or sound schemes.
* The ability to switch between users without having to log off.
* 64 bit version
* Multi-monitor support.
* DVD playback.
* Windows Media Center for watching recorded TV or other media.
* Remote Media Streaming for streaming your music, videos, and recorded TV from your home computer.
* Domain support for business customers.
* XP Mode for those that want the ability to run older Windows XP programs on Windows 7.

So, you can gain some additional features when you upgrade!

Have been using my Music Time Deluxe 3.5.5 on a Windows XP. Now have a new Windows Vista on which I've installed the program. However, all the features are not compatible with Vista. What do I need to do...

You might consider using a different program that does the same thing as music time deluxe 3.5.5. If the features are not compatible with your new operating system you need a new program that is. You might find a similar program on a free downloads site.

Use your search engine to find a site that offers free music programs. Plus I don't know what your music time does that Windows Media Player doesn't but you might find that Vista has a good music program built in.

You can also try going to the Music Time Deluxe site to see if they have any upgrades to solve your Vista upgrade problem. Good luck!

I have IDD Desktop Sheet music 2003 XP and I now have a Windows 7 computer. What do I do to use this program again.

Hi there and welcome at Fixya, the support team (lfete)

You can first try to install it on the computer and select the compatibility mode for Windows xp, I mean you can start right away with the setup file and choose the compatibility mode for xp, you do it in this way:
For choosing the compatibility mode for earlyere versions of windows you do it in this way :
Highlight the file and right click on the mouse and select Properties. Find the " Compatibility " tab and choose the Windows version you want to have. Thats it :O)

ANOTHER WAY TO DO IT :
You can download and install "Win 7 XP modus" and try to run your xp compatible programs, many programs should run on this add-in software from Microsoft (windows).
Windows 7 Xp Modus link :

Hope it helps
IF NOT then try to return here

Have a nice time over there

You asked a long time ago. If you still use XP get Plus! for Windows XP, which contains a label creator programme based on the Data Becker software. Works perfectly.
