The blue and black wires comimg out of the wall on the stat it just have b how do you decide witch one goes their i have a rth2410b honeywell

B is used to power the reversing valve in heat on a heat pump system. The best way to know which color to connect is to look at the indoor unit to see which one is connected there. It will likely be connected with a wire nut and continue to the outdoor unit. If both blue and black are connected and going outside, you may need to look in the outdoor unit to see which one is finally connected to B.
