Question about Heating & Cooling
I need a website that can show me a diagram on the inside of the furnance for a intertherm model number e2eb-012ha. wiring diagram for the trnsformer and seqencer...
A sequencer is exactly like a light switch. One hot wire being "broken" by the switch/sequencer. Only difference is its not your finger closing/turning on the switch, it is the low voltage wire from tstat along with a low voltage common. Essentially "c" leg from 240 side of transformer goes to one side of element and the "240" leg of 240 side goes through the sequencer then through a limit switch then to other side of element. Thus delivering 240 volts / 120 to each side of element, bringing on heater. An element is always hot with 120 volts straight off transformer, when sequencer "turns on/closes" an additional 120 volts is delivered... amount needed for the element to heat. Good luck
