I have a 1993 mercury' marquis. The floor boads of the front part of the car get hot. And the thermostat keeps falling to c and rising to half way and falling on gage. Can u please help?! Thanks

possible no water in the engine and it is overheating
this is indicated by the temp gauge rising and falling
temp gauge sender units need to be immersed in water full time to get a reading so if it goes up that is in water and when it falls back that is in nothing or steam
hot engine would account for hot floor

Vailant ecotec plus 837 - Water pressure and temp is too high

Pressure inside the tank will rise along with the water temperature. As the water inside cools the pressure will wane until the heating element turns on and reheats the water with a subsequent rise in pressure. Running the hot water at the same time will draw heat energy from the boiler and lower the internal temp and pressure as well.

I cannot get past stage one of level six on my super mario dsi ?? there is nowhere to go ??? please help

try this.
Carefully maneuver through the barrage to find a cliff, getting across it
quickly to pass another set of launchers, followed by a second cliff to
cross, but remember to drop down briefly to get that third Star Coin. Mario
will now be at the flagpole, so he can use a Bullet Bill to Super Jump off
of, landing high on the flagpole to end the level!

This area takes place on the shorelines of a body of water, and the water
will continually shift it height, going fairly high into the air and then
retreating. To further complicate this, Spinies will be deployed through
out the level, floating in the water during high tide and walking around on
land during low tide. Run right to pass a couple Spinies via the ledges,
hitting the ? Blocks to find a Power-Up, eventually finding a red pipe to go
through to the next area.

I have a garmin gpsmap 440s that will only read sonar depths a no wake speed. When I increase speed much past this the depth number blinks but does not track or change until I slow back down to idle again....

Sounds like the transducer is installed at the wrong angle or in such a way that it is getting a lot of air from something on the hull. If it is a transom mount, check that it is angled correctly and not too close to the motor or aft of some kind of thru-hull fitting that will cause turbulence.

1 Answer

Sonar not working properly, intermittent

Generally, that indicates air bubbles in the water under the transducer. If you have a transom-mount transducer, make sure the bottom surface is level or angled slightly down. If you have a thru-hull, make sure your bottom is fairly clean in that area.

Water keeps going and going and going!

the water is draining back to the ocean. The drain hose was not emptied properly from its last use. Put the machine in spin cycle (about 5 minutes) only to spin out the water from the outer tub completely and retry washer. If still problem, then visual check drain hose that it still has a "rising" section higher in altitude than the water level of inner tub (when working properly) before it makes a U-turn downward to send back to the ocean. You can also test the drain hose by putting machine in fill mode and crimping off the hose (fold hose over) to simulate a good drain hose. At this test, you should not "feel" water running through the hose if successfully crimped.
