Question about Maytag MGR5751AD Gas Kitchen Range
The odor is not propane, which we use, it can only be decribed as if a plastic handle were melting. This happened once before in 2006. A service man replaced the ignitor. It solved the problem until now. A couple of weeks ago it started again and is so strong and toxic smelling we can't use it. If it is the ignitor again we wonder why it would go out again? We want to do the repair ourselves and save $200.00. It is a Magic Chef Self-Cleaning Gas Range With Electronic Control
Model Number CGR3742CDC
Serial Number 13575971AC
We purchased it October 16th 2002
Thank you for any help you can give us.
