Question about Dell OptiPlex Motherboard Vid Snd LAN PCIe GX280 D7726
You are the MAN, Don!
I also think you should remove all Ram Memory modules, and use a pencil eraser to clean the gold plated contact pins.
Because you obviously have 'corrosion' on those contact pins.
Average example of a DIMM ram memory module, as used in a desktop computer,
Handle the ram memory module by the BODY.
The Body is coated with a see-through protective plastic.
The Body is everywhere on the ram memory module, EXCEPT the gold plated contact pins at the bottom.
If you are using an eraser on the end of a pencil, and not solid eraser, refrain from letting the metal band of the pencil, touch the gold plated contact pins.
Rub the eraser up, and down on EACH contact pin. BOTH sides.
Doesn't take much rubbing, or much pressure.
In fact when you are done, you may feel you have done nothing at all.
The gold plated contact pins may Not be bright, and shiny when finished.
I assure you Don, that you have cleaned them. Doesn't take much 'corrosion' to make a bad contact surface.
(Gold isn't supposed to corrode)
Use air to remove the eraser dust. If you have a can of compressed air for computers available, use it. If not air pressure from your mouth will be sufficient.
(Also use compressed air on the ram memory slots)
