A picture of the solution to 044 can be seen here

http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/2008/02/puzzle044.html

The camera puzzle requires working out the cost of the case

As the camera costs $300 more than the case and the total cost is $310, there's not many combinations to consider

The solution to 042 can be found here

here you go

Puzzle #9 -One Poor Pooch

Puzzle #9 -One Poor Pooch

- Just keep the basic anatomy of a dog in mind when you're moving around the matches.
- The triangle represents the head, the match at the end is the tail, the square is the body, and the four matches at the bottom are legs. The dog must have all of these in the final product.
- Don't think of this in real life terms. Think of a cartoon dog getting flattened by a steamroller.
- Move the two inside legs to the top half of the square facing outwards.
**Reward:**35 Picarats**Hint Coins**:- Tap the candle directly above Matthew's head.
- Tap the circular painting underneath the middle of the three paintings by the stairs.
- Tap the top level of the bookcase.

- After collecting the hint coins, tap the bookcase to start up puzzle #10.

D does not correspond to A, B or C, it corresponds to a number like A B and C do. If you look at where the dots are, they correspond to a clock.

A has two dots (even though you can only see one) on where a 12 would be. ie = 0 like 00.00 o clock = 0

B has a dot on 12 and a dot on 9 ie. 09.00 oclock = 9

C has a dot on 12 and a dot on 6 ie. 06.00 o clock = 6

D has a dot on 12 and a dot on .......

Does this help?
