Where can I purchase this capacitor? I was told that if I can not find this exact capacitor I can combine two small capacitor to get 125 uf is this true?

Is this a motor start capacitor? If so, you can get from the following:
http://www.amazon.com/HL008500AV-Campbell-Hausfeld-Capacitor-250VAC/dp/B0078PAR3U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427545862&sr=8-1&keywords=cbb60+120+uf+capacitor

You did not specify if this is a leaded or screw terminal, what it is used for, or any of the dimensions. If you are unsure, take the capacitor to an electronics repair store and ask them to source a replacement.

In this instance, I would not suggest trying to connect two capacitors in parallel to replace it. There should be replacements available.

How to wire Dayton capacitor E136401

It appears this is a 7.5 microfarad (mfd) capacitor like the ones installed on fans. If your fan motor has two brown wires, in addition to the black and white power wire, just fasten the two brown wire to the leads on the capacitor and insulate the connection with electrical tape and mount the capacitor in some dry convenient location inside the controls section of your unit. Be carefull to mount the capacitor in a location where it does not short an electrical connection.

If the capacitor is replacing the low side of a dual capacitor, for example a 35/7.5 capacitor, extend another lead from the common side of the dual capacitor to one side of the 7.5 capacitor and place the one brown lead from the fan motor to the other lead on the capacitor. If trying to replace the lower side, it is better to just replace the dual capacitor.

Replacing tv capacitors

It will depend on the postion of the capacitor on circuit board. If the capacitor is used as a smoothing reservoir, do not use a less capacity value, other than already soldered now. For others, you can.

Can i use 10nf3k ceramic capacitor to replace10pf3k ?

Hi Max,

Ceramic types are often found at the low range of capacitive values and electrolytic types are are the high end of capacitive values. Ceramic and electrolytic caps do certain jobs better when of one design instead of the other. The capacitive values may be the same, but there are other qualities that don't get printed on the part. One of the most noticeable differences is that electrolytic types don't do a very good job passing radio frequencies (RF). You'll often see several ceramic types in parallel (if needed) to get the correct amount of capacitance when a single electrolytic would appear to do the job in an circuit where the frequency is in the RF range. Audio Frequencies (AF) on the other hand are significantly lower and do not pose the same problem. There are other types of caps and they each have situations where they would do the best job.

In short, the developer / manufacturer selects all the parts based on a wide range of variables he needs to control based on design and testing. You should always replace components with like components, otherwise you risk adverse reaction(s) from one of those variables that had originally been contained.

The tv power supply board it is dead. That the board, where the power a/c cord plug into it.U have all the tools and understanding basic electronic also can do basic soldering work?Yes,take ur tv aparts.Check the whole power supply board carefully,by replacing all those blown capacitors that are busted open and all those capacitors are dying going to dead like bulging up or puffing up on to it tops.Replacing all those dead capacitors to a those new capcitors,do some modification of the capacitors parts like by replacing it in the same Micro fered, but the voltages should be 5 or 10 higher than those old busted or dying bulging up tops capacitors.By replacing all these dead capacitors and dying capacitors with a higher voltages capacitors. These capacitor to have a better chances to take more heat resistance, while tv be watching for hours of using. The tv should have power and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

3 of the (FZ7A1000 mfd 16V) capacitors near the power cable connection in my 9600 got burnt. I used to run my PC continious for more than 5 days. What may be the causes. Now the graphics card works for a...

Capacitors on motherboards and other electronic circuits sometimes leak and buldge and fail to perform their function. Faulty capacitors fail to hold the charge properply, heatup and do not supply proper power to other components on board/ circuit. I have come accross such cases with motherboards and after replacing the capacitors the they worked fine.
So, I recommend that you inspect the board properly, point out the faulty capacitors, find the exact replacement (FZ7A1000 mfd 16V), make sure that all the capacitors are the same and replace them one by one. Take proper caution while replacing the capacitors.
I hope that it would helps resolving the issue.

Good Luck!

Need to replace capacitor on dvd player

Hi, you should use a capacitor with same capacitance of 1000uF, but you don't have to stick to the original voltage spec. 1000uF 10V means it can withstand 10V load. 1000uF 50V means it can hold 50V for the same capacitance. Today I fixed my friend's and for that I used 1000uF 35V from RadioShack. It perfectly works - and it's better. But you shouldn't use 1000uF 5V - by now you already know that :)

Failed AC capacitor

if the capacitor you are talking about is part of the start circuit, a failed current sensing relay could have caused the capacitor to remain in the circuit on start up. whenever i replace a start capacitor, I also replace the relay just in case.
