No response or lights from Heavy, Normal and Rinse buttons when pushed. Did reset ie:sequence of keys within 7-8 secs. hi temp scrub/ energy saver dry/hi tempscrub/ energy saver dry/ hi temp scrub/ energy saver dry, afterwards all lights flashed and seemed to try to run a cycle with wash and rinse lights alternateing on and off. After that completed, tried to hit wash buttons again but No response or lights again. I also checked the hoses to the Fill Valve Assy and dont appear to be clogged.

Dishwasher seems to run for a very long time on normal cycle. It leaves a whitish residue on dishes and the glasses appear cloudy. I do use a rinse agent.

Hi,

The scum, film and white residue problems have started since the reduction of phosphates in dishwasher detergents.

Here is a tip that will help you to solve the problem of films, residue, and scum in your dishwasher.

The "cancel" light blinks on and off rapidly. If we push start for the cycle the dishwasher clicks off and on intermitently.

Hi,
To solve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence
-high temp wash -heated dry -high temp wash -heated dry
After doing this sequence all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cycle finish (1-2 minutes). You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.
Thank you!

Clean light flashes cant get to start a wash cycle

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses, then repeats...

When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it will stop working and lock the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cycle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring). It's not as common but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).
