Use the Sansa Media Converter. If you don't have the SMC, you can get the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0

I have a gigaware 42-422 but Im unable to put movies in it what can I do?

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. How do you downloade videos to the san disk

you need to verify first the capacity of your san disk.a movie is usually 750 mb in avi format.
if your san disk has the capacity just save the downoaded file on a folder in your computer first.
when finished download just copy and paste in the sandisk (removable disk) directory.

Cant transfer footage from Canon DC201 onto computer (and eventually internet) Do I need specialist software to take video from DVD to computer?

You don't need specialist software to take video from DVD to computer.

One of two things has gone wrong
1. Your PC cannot read the -R DVD format, or, more likely
2. You have not finalised the disk.

You must finalise the disk in the camcorder before putting it in the PC. To finalise the disk you must have the power adapter connected to the camera, plugged into a wall socket and turned on. Then go to the main menu, select 'disk operations' and you'll see an option to finalise disk. Don't move or shake the camera whilst the finalising step is underway.

Once finalising is complete, put the disk into the PC.
