SOURCE: Verifone Nurit 8000s need to turn off auto

Solution 1 is a correct one; however, it is not alway possible to turning Auto Batch off on the from the terminal. Some settings are encrypted on NCC (Nurit Control Center) and have to be reloaded with a generic application provided by Processor.
Hope this will help.
P.S. Length of the password depends not on the Operation systen (NOS) but on application loaded not the terminal.

Why do heat and defrost only work when I'm moving?

it sounds like it may be low on antifreeze. sometimes when there isn't enough antifreeze in the radiator it wont put out much heat until you rev up the engine. at idle the water pump cant move the anti freeze but at a higher rpm. it can. but there is a chance you may burn up the water pump by not having enough antifreeze. check it and fill to proper level and see if this cures it.

head gasket. signs (huge list)
water and steam gushing from rad cap or overfill tank
carbon in the rad neck hole, cap off cold.
oil in same place
water in engine pan, (milky)
steam out the tail pipe after engine fully warm.
water leaking down side of block at head/block juncture.
cylinder compression low on 1 or more.
cylinder leak down fails on 1 or more
the green/blue die test fails.
the rad leak down gauge test fails.
engine pings
lost engine power.
funny sounds.
i can list more, but that is enough.

Over heat after replace themsta 2 months

If the t/stat fails in the closed position an overheat will result. I have had a brand new one fail a week after I put it it. Rare but does happen. Have you checked the rad hose, is it warm, hot, or cold during the overheat condition? Is the coolant actually flowing through the system? When its cold (after sitting overnight) remove the rad cap, look at the fluid level...normal? If so start the car and let it run with the cap off..feel the rad hose soon as it starts to get hot look in the rad (be careful if your system has a vapor lock it may spit the air out, best to have a face shield on just in case!) the coolant flowing? It should start flowing at some point. If not the t/stat is stuck closed or the water pump is broken/seized.

Suzuki problem

no engine size stated. ENGINE COOLANT WHICH CAP?
my guess, you meant the RAD CAP or the SIDE expansion tank cap
if the exp. plastic cheap tank cap fails you need a new tank
if the RAD cap fails.
that means , (wrong cap) or wrong rad.

lets do the little story, here,
last owner took out the stock rad, and put in a
POS import tank. (see this 3 times or more)
and has a custom tank, not legal Suzuki cap, at all.
the good rad BTW, is Spectra Premium brand, for sure.
the the CSF wonder RADs

one, i fixed i took the radiator in hand drop to every car store in town.
and guess what,, it has a non suzuki cap.
we tried every STANT (usa maker) cap and one fit. perfect.

Id bet wrong cap. .wrong RAD
they must match, that is for sure.

Do i need head gasket

there are about 8 tests to prove this. and lots of signs.
1: fails compression test.
2: water in engine oil.
3: carbon and oil floating top of RAD filler hole. cap off dead cold
4: constant need for adding AF.
5: steam out tail pipe end, hot engine, fully hot.
6:rad leak down tester fails.
7:the rad blue green tester fails. proves exhaust gasses in RAD.
8: air (seemingly) blasting in to side expansion tank, (combustion gasses actual)
9: engine over heat. and pings. and loss of power.

ill stop here, there are more.

My 2001 grand cherokee has the engine light on, the coolant is alwasys running low, and I have a evap leak

evap leak can just be a bad, gas cap or not tight. and is not an issue here. its just a tank vent.
the loose is serious
the collant called AF, (antifreeze ) can only go a few places.
1: to the ground.
2: to the passengers does, heater core leak.
3: to the oil pan, did you check oil for AF contam?
4: to the A/T pan, did you check the A/T dip stick for contam?
5: to the exhaust tail pipe tip, called STEAM.

find the the path and problem is obvious.

if all 4 dont pan out (pun intended) then use the 2 rad tests.
got oil in the AF, filler neck, on cold start, before start, off the RAD cap and look , got oil there?
does the rad leak down test fail> (a tool)
does the green/blue tester fail, (exh. gas in RAD found)>>>>>????
does a compression test fail,?
does a cylinder leakdown test fail..

all are simple tests.

2001 FORD WINDSTAR stopped heating

Check top rad hose for heat. When enging has been running for 10-15 minutes, shut off engine and feel top rad hose. It should be very warm if not hot to the touch. If it is not hot, Change thermostat. It is located under housing that top rad hose mounts to on engine. You can get a eplacement at any auto parts store. Get a failsafe one. If it fails it does so in the off position only and will not cause overheating problems if it fails.
If rad hose is hot it is a problem with your heater, possibly plugged

Radiator fan not turning on time

Check the rad fan fuse or the relay under the hood.
Is the temp going too high? Check and make sure you are not low on rad fluid (engine cool). An air pocket where the fan temp sensor on the rad is located will not activate the sensor.

Failing that, check the rad temp sensor which activates the fan. If this sensor does not close at high temp...the fan won't work.

1999 BMW 323 convertible Radiator Replacement

BMW radiators are relatively cheap even at the dealer level ($250 approx), however BMW will almost certainly tell you that you must replace the thermostat. The thermostat is one of those parts that either works or not and if it has failed, you will know immediately after you test drive with the new rad. you should do that first before you waste more time and money on a thermostat you don't need. Most BMW's have a rad with a plastic upper hose connection and this fails - this is different than most other vehicles where the rad plugs up and the overheating prior to the final failure of the rad damages the thermostat
