You connect the MP3 player to your PC using the U.S.B. port to your computer. It will show up on your pc as a new Drive like "E:" then you pick the songs you want from your PC and copy and paste them to the new MP3 player (the new detected drive). One suggestion don't cut and paste from your PC. Because you will be removing the song from your PC then and if you lose the MP3 player. ..bye bye to all your favourite songs.
Plug in the Philips mp3 player to your computer. Use a USB cable to make the
connection so you can begin synchronizing your music collection.
Start Windows Media Player. Depending on how your computer is set up,
this program may start automatically when you make the connection with
the MP3 player
Find the Sync tab in the media player window. Click on this tab and open
the Sync screen. The Sync screen has two panes. The left pane is for
the music collection on your computer; the right pane is for the Philips MP3 Player
Choose the songs from your collection that you want to add to theMp3 Player's memory. Check the boxes that are presented by each song title
Click the "Start Sync" button. The files from your computer are being copied onto your MP3 player.
Wait for the sync to complete. You can monitor the progress in the "Windows Media Player" window.
Close the media player program. Unplug your Philips mp3 player from the computer
NOTE:If this doesn't work you might be able to see your player in the MY Computer window.(after you connect it via USB cable) Select the player copy the songs and paste them into the player. Safely remove the device. You should be able to play the songs ..
First you need to convert the songs on the CD into mp3 music files then you copy these mp3 files to your mp3 player.
There are several freeware rip programs on the Internet that rip CD songs into mp3 files.
Do a Google search for these rip programs and install the program on your computer.
You can use Windows Media Player, it can rip music CDs and convert the music files into mp3 music files.
You can either download song to your mp3 by... 1. Load an audio cd in your cd drive and convert audio songs mp3 format first, then you just copy and paste it to mp3. 2. If it the cd you want to insert already contains mp3 tracks, just copy and paste on your mp3. 3. You can also download songs from net. If you can access the internet with your phone just go to: www.waptrick.com
If you are downloading songs onto your player from Cd's that you have, you will first need to copy the music from your Cd's into a folder. Put all of your songs into your My Music folder. With some players, you can simply navigate to where your music is, right click on the file, select Copy, then navigate to where your player is and select paste.
Your player should be hooked up to your computer via your usb cord, which should have come with your player. If you are not sure where your mp3 player is on your computer, try going into My Computer. You should see something like Local Disk (C:), Removable Disk (F:) or Removable Disk (J:). My players usually show up in Removable Disk (J:). If you are lucky you will see the mp3 player file as soon as you go into My Computer. But if not, click on different removable files until you find yours.
Once you have found your player, click to go into it. You should see a list of folders. There should be one that says, Music. Go into that. Past the music file that you previously copied by right-clicking and selecting Paste. Your music file will transfer.
You can also transfer your music files via Windows Media Player. To do this, start up the Windows Media Player. At the top of the player you should see Now Playing, Library, Rip, Burn and Sync. Click Sync. If you have music already on your computer (everyone does) you will see the songs already on your computer. Select your song and then drag it over to where it says Sync List. Make sure your device is already connected to your computer! You should see your player in the Sync List. Then click the button that says Start Sync. Thats it!
lol Instructions Manual. Then It comes with a USB Cable and connect it to the MP3 Player and Your PC. Then your PC should detect it and install (if necessary). Then select your music files on your PC and copy them to Your Mp3.

If you are goin to download music from your computer
first you need a data cable that will connect your mp3 player to your computer. You should have gotten one with the player
i download music from a free music download site. most downloadable music is already in mp3 format so you just have to drag and drop the music. after you connect the mp3 player to your computer the computer should recognize it and list it in my computer along with the hard drive and cd rom drives. there are a couple of ways of adding music from here. you can copy and paste music from your computer, to do this you just have to click on the mp3 player in my computer, a page should open that says internal memory this is the internal memory of the mp3 player click on that, a list of folders should come up. there should be one for photos and one for videos, a few others and one for music. if you copy a song or group of songs from wherever in your computer that you have your music stored you can click back to the folder page. left click on the songs and click copy then click back to the internal memory page, put your mouse pointer over the music folder, left click and hit copy the song or songs will be copied into the music folder and can be accessed in the mp3 player. remember you can hold the control button down on your keyboard and select as many songs as you want to copy. If you want to transfer songs from a music cd you have to first load the cd and transfer the music to your computer. then you have to use a convertor, they are downloadable on the internet for free, then convert the music that you took off the cd to an mp3 format and then use the same steps as above to put the music on your mp3 player. If you are familiar with using your windows explorer on your computer you can open it and just drag the files from the folders they are in into the internal memory folders of your mp3 player.
On a lot of mp3 players the webpage for the product has a program that allows you to convert files and put them onto your mp3 player in one step. you could check the website for the product to see if they offer one.
