Hi, try switching your tv to channel 3 or 4 and see if that works- there should be a switch on the back of your DVD player beside the Coaxial Cable outputs-it will allow you to use Channel 3 or 4 as the default to play dvd's. I hope that helps-if more detail or wiring diagram is needed-please leave make and model numbers and i'll try to help.

Make sure you are using the correct connections. AV connection should be yellow, red, white. Component connections are green, blue, red, white, and red.
If this is all correct, try the PS on another TV and another AV input device on this TV. If the PS works on another TV and a secondary device does not work on this TV, you have a bad main board and it will need to be replaced.
