Google the model number with the LOCATION NUMBER of the part you lost to see if someone knows that information.

SOURCE: Unable to locat and select the AV channel on new LCD HD TV

Hi, try switching your tv to channel 3 or 4 and see if that works- there should be a switch on the back of your DVD player beside the Coaxial Cable outputs-it will allow you to use Channel 3 or 4 as the default to play dvd's. I hope that helps-if more detail or wiring diagram is needed-please leave make and model numbers and i'll try to help.
Cheers and have a Happy Holiday Season!

Make sure you are using the correct connections. AV connection should be yellow, red, white. Component connections are green, blue, red, white, and red.

If this is all correct, try the PS on another TV and another AV input device on this TV. If the PS works on another TV and a secondary device does not work on this TV, you have a bad main board and it will need to be replaced.

E74 code

E74: AV cable error... There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. If the cable is known to be working then there is a 90% chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip connected directly to the AV cable) in rare cases it is the GPU.

If you nave a good AV cord, this will be a chip issue. you will have to call Microsoft in this case for a repair ticket.

If you have not ever opened the console for any reason, you can call this number for a free repair.

How can I turn to AV without a remote control (Samsung TV/VCR 19in Combo)

you might try going to channel 00
If you cannot just dial the number 00, go to channel 2 and then channel down.
Does not always work, but without the model number of the TV it is hard to advise further
