    Hi Richard. Thanks for offering to help. I believe this was one of those "I can't believe I was that stupid" moments. BTW the model number was taken from the plate on the machine.


    Seems a pillow that was in the wash got ejected from the drum during the first spin cycle. It wedged between the drum and chassis, blocking the water outlet. When the machine started the rinse cycle, the water was dumped outside of the drum, causing the leak. We've done 5 or 6 loads since then with no problems.

    At least it gave me a reason to pull the washer and dryer out and sweep/mop the floor under them!

    Lesson learned: No large pillows in a top load machine!

1 of a few problems may have happen, However I would say the water pump is most likely leaking. But you can check the rubber hoses under the bottom by the motor for wetness Just make sure it's unplugged..

Roper washer is leaking above the motor.


Main gasket and seal on the bottom of the machine. You will need to replace the drum gasket and the bearing seal.
