Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

you should be able to go through the card manufacturer and get "recovery software" that will help you get the pictures back off the card. It is likely that the card has gone bad.

All I can get when I turn on the system in the beginning blue screen, but will not go to the navigational screen

Do not panic when you have your gps receiver stuck on the navigational screen, the problem simply is that the file supporting the loading of the maps and other start up programs might have been corrupted or missing somehow.
The first way to solve this problem is for you to reset the gps receiver, by holding down the reset button or holding down the power on/off button for about 15 seconds, it will restart the gps receiver. This time it should come on to the complete navigational screen,
If it does not, the next solution is for you to format the gps receiver by connecting it to a computer and transferring your maps to the computer, then you format it from the computer, after formating, go to the website and restore your operating system or upload the latest software for your gps from there, then you update your maps and copy back your maps into the gps receiver back.
That should do the job for you. I hope this information helped.

After upoloading maps on my garmin when I unplug the charger my maps go away and I only have audio support

It's a software problem with your NUVI . It can be solved by resetting it .

To reset your NUVI please follow these steps :

1:Turn the Nuvi on.

2:Touch the tools icon on the main screen. The tools icon is represented by a wrench surrounded by a blue circle.

3:Touch the "Settings" icon which appears as a wrench.

4:Push the "Restore" button at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation message will appear asking to confirm restoring the Nuvi to factory settings. Push yes to restore the factory settings
............................................................................................
Try this for hard reset .

Turn off Garmin device. Press down on bottom right corner of the touchscreen [ Don't let go ] , and then power on the GPS unit. You should be prompted whether do you really want to erase all user data, or asked if do you really want to start up in maintenance mode. Press “Yes” to reset (warning: all data will be erased and lost, so backup before proceeding) or enter maintenance mode.

You may be in luck
go to this webpage and download webupdater

http://www8.garmin.com/products/webupdater/howtoinstall.jsp

keep your fingers crossed. basically that is an external hard drive... when you format it.. you erase everything... apparently that has partitions in it as you didn't lose everything tho i suspect you did lose the maps

I have a ique 3600 and was working fine until I plugged in the ac adapter to the bottom of the unit. It won't turn on. I did a soft reset and now I get a flashing Palm Software screen. I even tried a reset...

Mine has gone into the looping/flashing Palm Screen and then displays the hard reset do you want to erase everything. I fixed it by pushing the up button when it gave me the chance to delete everything and it fixed it.

Can't record anything new

You can either use the "Digital Voice Manager" (loaded from the recorder when you first plugged it into a USB Port... OR, when you brought up the files in the recorder, clicked on the folder with setup). Or, if you just want to clean out everything from all four (A-B-C-D) folders, you can format the chip. Turn the recorder "on", press and hold "erase" until it flashes, press and hold "record" until it flashes "format", and press and hold "erase". "WAIT" will show on the screen until the chip is formatted, and you now have a clean chip - 128 meg or thereabouts.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
-----
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

Maps and POI's are gone

You can try a Master Reset, but be aware, this will ERASE ALL OF YOUR FAVORITES. To do a master reset, turn the unit off. Press the On button and the bottom right of the screen at the same time. Release the On button, but continue to press the screen until the unit asks if you are sure you want to reset. Press yes. This MAY help.
