Question about Kenmore 40494 / 40495 / 40499 Electric Single Oven
Kenmore Model #911-41055 591 We were baking something in oven and it started beeping and an F2 code appeared. We pressed clear/cancel and it would stop but then start beeping and giving us code 30 seconds later. We finally had to shut main power off to oven.
Then we turned power back on and now it's giving us an F3 code and beeping. The oven will not turn on at all now. It just beeps with F3 code now. What can we do and what can be wrong with oven?
I think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.
