first thing..i want to know which model of you laptop? is there any bluetooth built-in? if there is...try this....
there a bluetooth key button down in your laptop,you switch it on..i think you know the logo of bluetooth...i think so....
if not a key botton,try to press Fn+ bluetooth key in your keyboard.
