Ge washer whre5550k2ww tub wont spin

It may be the rotor position sensor. i used you tube tutorials. There are many washers that are the same, but different brand names. Matag, whirlpool, kenmore elite oasis, all the same and parts. I got lucky and a cleaning hack. It was to clean between the tob and thre shell. This is located up under where you cannot see, use a mirror and look wherr your detergent, fabric softer and bleach dispensers are. And i found a tutorial on diagnosting code that will do it for you. I think it was holding a cycle 5x for 5 seconds and it will tell you. Whats wrong, Good Luck

The motor/inverter on this washer stores fault codes. The LED you see blinking will blink once every second non-stop when in stand-by mode and twice every second non-stop when it should be running. If there is a fault code the LED will blink a certain number of times then stop for a few seconds. Some of the fault codes not allow the motor to operate. Post back the blink code.

How GE washer that will fill with water but will not agitate replaced lid switch and ck belt motor will not run

Check the water level sensor. See if it is clogged with softener. The other things that you need to check are the voltages to the motor and see if the transmission is ok. Also the drum might be loose on the drive splines.

Ge washer whre5550k2ww control lights come on but nothing else

This might be a problem with actual switch in lid. Washing machine will NOW WORK, if the switch in lid is not working. It is there for safety, so small child will not reach in when machine is in use and get injured. Machine is designed to only work if machine is closed and switch under lids is working.
