Question about Computers & Internet
First of all reinsatll drivers. If problem still occurs then fix the errors that you are facing while running windows.
If you are not in the above situation then best option is to use Driver Scanning tool that will search for available drivers online.
Download and install the required drivers.
Hope problem is fixed.

Testimonial: "thx alot guys, i was reminded on how simple the fix was...operator error :)"
Onboard Sound OR Sound Card using Realtek chip? If it already worked fine before, meaning the original driver should still be on the Hard Drive, so a simple re-start of the computer should fix it (Some people never turn of their PC or Laptops. If that doesn't work you'll have to try re-installing it just as Natalie and Maritonn sugested both methods work i.e. Update Driver...follow prompts as well as Uninstall it then Re-Installing it, Re-Boot after Unistall helps. If Re-Installing from the driver originally used that should be on the HDD doesn't work it means it might be corrupted, therefore Downloading it again, maybe you have it on Original CD? Anyway hope you have luck with someone's help here if not already worked it out.
