Question about Maytag Refrigerators
First, remove ptc overload/relay (starter) off the compressor,then check compressor terminals on compressor by taking an ohm-meter and checking the terminals for resistance first one meter to the single terminal and one lead to each of the other terminals one at a time, then the meter leads between the two terminals there will be about 5 to 11 ohms on the first readings and a combined resistance on the second reading,then one lead to the compressors metal case and the other lead to each terminal there should be no resistance at all,if the readings are in line then simply replace the starter ptc
