Something happened to the unit.
Good news is that lights are still ON.
Might be power surge. Or extra wire wrapped around transformer.
Clean up terminal with sandpaper.
If clock motor does not rotate, but lights are ON, then plug power pack into cheap wall timer.
Copy following link and read tips for getting power pack to last longer. One of these reasons may apply to problem.
Plus view warranty, and replacement trippers.

When my soon put his pennsylvania flyer train set he unhook the wiring to the fasttrack itself. How to we put in back on the fasttrack?

turn the terminal track(where the wires were connected) over,
you should see 2 screws where the wires were attached.
loosen the center rail screw, strip the wire with the red end back - 1/2 inch on the end that was attached to the screw, place wire around the screw & tighten. repeat with the other wire attaching it
to the screw on the outside rail where it was previously attached.
reconnect the terminal track to the rest, connect to your transformer
and play with your train.

The lighter wires from the transformer, black attaches to terminal 4, (this will have many other wires attached, and can be more than one terminal labeled #4) The red from transformer attaches to #3, it will be the only wire on a #3 terminal.
The heavier red wire most likely goes thru the back wall to the brushes, and attaches to a #4 terminal also. They have used different heat controls over the years, so this diagram may not exactly match your machine, the the terminal numbers are consistant.

I replaced my thermostat last night without

check for 24 volts ac at R & C terminals at the t-stat. Your transformer will have 4 wires hooked up to it. Two on one side and two on the other. Two of them will read either 120v or 240 v ac depending on whether you have a 120 or 240 v voltage. The other side should read 24 volts. If you are not reading 24 volts, then you have burnt the transformer and will need to replace it. If you are reading 24 volts, check to see if there a low voltage fuse located on the control circuit board or somewhere between the transformer and "R" terminal.
Here's a picture of a typical low voltage transformer found in an A/C system:

If you replace the transformer, add a 5 amp fuse on one of the 24 volt leads......this will save you from having to replace another transformer in the event of future "short" in the low voltage circuit.

I hope you find this to be very helpful to you moving forward,

Was welding and welder quit acking wire feed and gas still work i have a century pro wire welder model 170gs

Check earth wire has not become dislodged,
Pop the cover and check for burnt terminals, often overheating of the transformer can cook a terminal, easily cleaned up and replaced.

Achiever Shredder PS150 not turning on.

You can take apart the shredder, and see if there is a fuse in this model. The fuse should have a thin wire running all the way across the fuse. If the wire is broken or burnt, replace it with same size fuse.
If the fuse is good, get a voltmeter, and test the connection where the power supply/high-voltage transformer (the box that has the plug-in attached to it) atttaches to the main circuit board. See what the voltage rating is. If there is no reading or barely any reading, then the power supply/voltage transformer is shot.

I replaced a clogged drain hose attached to my Aprilaire 600 humidifier. I then discovered no water was being supplied to the humidifier. The problem appeared to be a dangling solenoid wire that I had...

Hi,
No, you need to attach one of the solenoid wires to the red wire and one to the white wire.
So, undo the wire nut with the three wire and hook one of the red or white wirtes to the wire nut with only one wire. Then you sould have a black wire and one of the other red or white wires under each wire nut.
Problem amy be that you now have burned out the transformer that runs your Humidifier. By hooking the red and white wires together you may have shorted that out and killed it.
If you humidifier does not work after hooking it back uo right then you will need to change the transformer.

I bought new Honeywell non programmable, letters are different.

If you have a 5 wire thermostat then you have a two transformer system a cooling transformer and a heating transformer.
The cooling transformer wires to Rc - Y - G,
and the heating transformer wires to R - W the R terminal heating would be the #4 terminal from the old stat.

Burnt out wire at terminal connection - I think!

cut the wire back just to where you get fresh copper... twist the wire very tight turn it under the screw in a clockwise direction ...put the screw in very very tight...if you have terminal connectors you can use them also..the trick is to make all connections very tight
