Usually the Kodak software stores the images on your computer in your "My Pictures" folder which is usually located under your user directory where your personal files are such as "My Documents". Within the "My Pictures" folder, there should be a Kodak folder where your imported pictures are, if not, check through the "My Pictures" folder and see if you can find the imported pictures.
Once you find the pictures you want to edit/use, you can use a free software such as Picasa from Google or you can find a list of some of the best FREE photo editing software from the link below:
Your two photos are both open already except they are in their own window inside CS4. If you want to edit both of them in one screen, do the following:
1. Open your first pic
2. Open your second pic
3. Select and copy the second pic to clipboard (Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C)
4. Close the second pic and go to the first pic
5. Press Ctrl-V to paste
6. Use the Move tool to move the second pic
7. Use Transform (Ctrl-T) to resize the pics

Are you trying to go from internal memory to memory card that is installed in phone? If so, you should be able to get into your photos and go to edit mode. There should be an option in that area to "Move" pic. This will move pic to installed memory card.
I don't know how you can assign pics/music to sim contacts - I tried but I couldn't work it out as well. When I click 'edit' on a sim stored contact a menu appears with memory, name and number only.
However, if you move your contacts from sim to phone, you will be able to assign both pictures and ringtones. This time the edit menu extends to home, mobile and office number, e-mail, group, ringtone and photo (with photos make sure size is 680x480 or smaller).
