I used to make the heads that are in this car and own one myself. the spark plugs are located on the top of the cylinder heads. you will need to remove the valve cover to expose the spark plugs

Where are the spark plugs located on a 2005 toyota solara 6 cylinder?

Hi
there are 6 spark plugs, three on each side, to reach them you have to remove the ignition coils those bolted at the top of rocker cover, each coil have 1 spark plug under it.

Good luck

Do i have to take the intake off to change the spark plugs

You did not mention which engine you have, but YES, it is necessary to remove the upper intake plenum to replace the spark plugs on the rear bank of most Toyota V-6 Engines. This is why many tune-ups are as expensive as they are...The old days of getting a 6 Cyl tune-up for $59.99 are long gone...

I need 2 change my spark plugs, how do i do this?

follow the leads there will be one for every cyclinder if u have 4 cyclinder there should be 4 leads if u have 6 cyclinders 6 leads ect.only remove one lead at a time and change that plug so as not to mix up the leads
make sure not to overtighten the new plugs or cross thread as this will damage the head big money to fix.DO NOT DROP ANYTHING DOWN THE HOLE WHEN THE OLD PLUG IS OUT
