Need to find location for spark plugs for 2004 Solara, 6 cyclinde

there are 6 spark plugs, three on each side, to reach them you have to remove the ignition coils those bolted at the top of rocker cover, each coil have 1 spark plug under it.

you will find the spark plugs it self by following the wiring thats going into the engine block if it a 6 cyclinder there is 6 wires change one spark plug one at a time DO NOT pull all the plugs out cause u will not remember the order they go inand thats the firing pattern if u lose the firing pattern u will have to call a mechanic or go online and look it up.

You did not mention which engine you have, but YES, it is necessary to remove the upper intake plenum to replace the spark plugs on the rear bank of most Toyota V-6 Engines. This is why many tune-ups are as expensive as they are...The old days of getting a 6 Cyl tune-up for $59.99 are long gone...

DON'T NEED A DIAGRAM.. JUST GO AROUND BASE OF PLENUM AND REMOVE SCREWS.. MAKE SURE TO HAVE A NEW PLENUM GASKET RO REPLACE FOR OLD ONE

follow the leads there will be one for every cyclinder if u have 4 cyclinder there should be 4 leads if u have 6 cyclinders 6 leads ect.only remove one lead at a time and change that plug so as not to mix up the leads
make sure not to overtighten the new plugs or cross thread as this will damage the head big money to fix.DO NOT DROP ANYTHING DOWN THE HOLE WHEN THE OLD PLUG IS OUT

spark plugs can go into any cylinder
it must be the plug wire configuration you need correct?

no 1 front left hand side ,engine rotates clockwise ,10ª might be too much for unleaded fuel 95octane i would go for 6/8 degrees unless you are putting in a lead substitute .firing order 153624
