You might need to get rid of the virus first
or try safe safe mode to download or run your antivirus software
or even safe with a system restore

restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to repair your computer

Windows Advanced Options Menu

Please select an option:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
Debugging Mode

Start Windows Normally
Reboot
Return to OS Choices Menu

Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice

select the safe mode option and try the system restore

To perform a system restore, follow these steps:

1.Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK.

2.On the General tab, click Launch System Restore.

3.Select Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.

4.Calendar dates in bold are possible restore points. Click the most recent one to view system restore information.

5.Select a system checkpoint or an installation restore point, and then click Next.

6.Close all other programs.

7.To start the system restore, click Next.

8.Your computer restarts. Repeat steps 1 through 8 until you fix your configuration issue.

SOURCE: tough infection keeps returning

Hello.

If the malware is reinfecting your system, you really only have 3 choices: System Restore, Factory Restore or reinstall.

For System Restore, boot your system to Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly). Go to System Restore and choose a date when your system worked OK. Note: with System Restore, everything, including your documents and other files you saved on the hard drive, will roll back to that date.

Accessing Factory Restore (restores to the factory settings and will wipe out anything that you have installed or saved on your PC), is dependent on your hardware manufacturer. Boot your system and press F10, F11, Alt+F10, or Ctrl+F11 to access Factory Restore. Follow the prompts.

If still not resolved, you'll probably need to reinstall your operating system.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: my browser Internetexplorer is working too slow or not working

One common problem which can make your browser very slow is because of computer viruses. A computer virus is a malicious application which is designed to do something you wouldn't normally want. Viruses can slow down your internet connection and make browsing websites very difficult.

Websearch.helpmefindyour.info

Hi,
I want to add to the answer above. First of all, websearch.helpmefindyour.info is not a virus. It does not do any direct harm to your computer. In the world of security experts it is categorized as browser hijacker. Although it is not that easy to remove the application causing websearch.helpmefindyour.info redirections, one can do it manually or use antimalware tools. Please note, not all of the tools can remove this type of infection. You may find more info about hijacker">websearch.helpmefindyour.info removal here.

If you want to install the Windows operation system anew:

Hi I am Farah, and as I wanted to download java , it came thet" " is not valid win 32 application'. What shoudl I do? Thx

It is possible that you are attempting to install a 64-bit version of Java when you have a 32-bit operating system. Check your operating and confirm this. In Vista you can find this using Start > Control Panel > System. This is similar if you have Windows 7. Here is what it looks like:

pcjanitor.jpg
If after that you, you follow these instructions from Sun (Java) to locate and install the 32-bit version.

Error: x64.exe not a valid Win32 application This article applies to:
  • Platform(s): Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003
  • Browser(s): Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla 1.4+
  • Java version(s): 6.0
SYMPTOMS

While trying to install Java a user gets an error message similar to:
' ... x64.exe not a valid Win32 application'

CAUSE

The error message is a result of trying to install a 64-bit version of Java on a 32-bit operating system.
SOLUTION

User needs to install a 32-bit version of Java software, since a 64-bit version is not compatible with their 32-bit operating system.

Follow these steps to download 32-bit Java
  1. Go to Manual download
  2. Click Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 Online.
  3. The File Download dialog box appears.
  4. Choose the folder location.
  5. (Save the file to a known location on your computer, for example, to your desktop).
  6. Click Save.
  7. Close all applications including the browser.
  8. Double-click on the saved file icon to start the installation process.

Recovery Disc will not work

That's terrible. The right soution should be to try Ashampoo Uninstaller or similar software that gets off EVERY BIT of unwanted software. Use function "Install new applications". It asks for setup.exe, install.exe or similar executable file, that runs Antivirus 360 installer. Point to it. After all the installations completes, "Ashampoo Uninstaller" logs the installation. Now uninstall the unwanted program using "Uninstall logged programs". That's it!
If you really damaged your operating system, do buckup of your important data and reinstall OS
