I had this problem and I solved it by letting the machine dry out overnight. Before I turned it back on I removed the drawer and wiped the area inside the internal flap then I used the pressurized air that you use to clean a computer and blew out all of the residue. It has worked well since then.

I called Miele hot line & here is the solution to fixed the problem... 800-999-1360.

http://www.miele.com/

Whenyou start the cleaning cycle, Don't stop the process by pulling the plug! Turnthe unit off from inside wait 5+ seconds & turn back on and thecleaning cycle should restart... If you do not use a cleaning TAB..Open& shut the LOOSE coffee Door under the drawer (Top Left) and thecycle will continue.

SOURCE: miele coffee maker cva 4070

OK. Here's the deal. I struggled with this CVA 4070 (F 73) problem also recently, and even posted a questions in the cyber world about it. I jiggled, re-cleaned the machine, re-read the Miele manual, and scoured the internet for schematic drawings of this brewing unit's insides. No luck. Finally after finding out I'd have to pay $199 just for a service clown to walk in my front door, I said NYET!!!  I must solve by myself. If I can take apart & fix my Dyson, etc, etc, I WILL DO THIS TOO!!  (MUST HAVE COFFEE>>>)
Pull out the brewer, turn it a quarter-turn to your right, and look at the spot where that small black plastic piece -- shaped like a block "M" or block "W" -- should be situated. Pull it out, if it isn't out already. Don't worry about yanking it out or harming these parts, said the Miele troubleshooter guy in New Jersey on the phone. They're "made from the same plastic used in football helmets."  Okey-dokey.
This approx. 1.5" wide, blocky plastic piece is part of the "slide" that takes the brewed coffee grounds into the waste container. When positioned correctly, it looks like a block "W,"  with the "wings" ointing up, and slides in just under a brown 1.5" flat piece. A small, down-facing tab on the brown piece clicks into the "W" piece and holds it in place. The "W" should feel fairly solid, although it is not rigidly in place, as the entire mechanism is a movable system to deposit the grounds in the waste receptacle.
Put everything back inside your CVA 4070 "love" machine, hit "on," and wait for it to go through its warm-up.  No F73 message?  Yeah!  Mission Accomplished. You, like I, have fixed your Miele, saved your family relationships, and saved yourself a bundle from unnecessary service calls.

My Road view in the vehicle was working fine...2 day's ago..it's saying 'bad disc' the disc's are all clean and new..I unplug it.. and still saying the same thing.

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
If your mini DVD player reads "No Disc" after you've loaded the disc, it means the machine isn't reading the DVD. Take the DVD out again and clean it. It's quite possible that the disc is simply dirty and cleaning it will solve the problem immediately.
However if the problem persist test the following:

  1. Bad connections to one or more buttons or sets of buttons.
  2. Microcontroller failed to reset properly.
  3. Missing/bad voltages from power supply.
  4. Defective microcontroller or other logic.
go to the repair shop FOR fix it.

Why is the thread catching on the tension discs on my Singer 5430C machine

Have you cleaned your discs lately? Thread has wax applied to it believe it or not. Take a sturdy piece of cloth, fold it over and "floss" the tension discs. Test the stitch again. If that does not solve your problem, then the discs themselves may need replaced.

Nakamichi cd cassette player 1 not spinning discs

There's a Music Bank 7-disc player in use in my bedroom these days. Nice unit, but they used to come in for service once in a while- from what I could tell, these units don't 'park' the CD drawers on a soft power off- they simply shut down. When powered up again, they sometimes let the disc last in play slide off the tray & jam the machine. I've had no issues, as long as I always hit stop, wait for it to park, and then shut off. The analog output's sound has been very good (has a coax out as well).

What wrong when your sewing machine thead keep breaking

likely causes are:

top thread is snagging on something in the thread path, check threading path visually
top tension is set too tight - set to 4
tension dial is gunked up - clean it, see below
old dry brittle thread - junk it (or you can rehydrate thread by putting in the fridge overnight) but always store threads in an airtight container out of sunlight.
cheap bargain bin thread - junk it, okay for tacking by hand but don't use on your machine. Use quality brands like Guttermann, molynecke or Mettler.
burr on the needle or bent needle

I would suggest that you start by checking the top tension dial settings, change the thread and needle and clean the tension device if it is accessible to do this.

If you can get at the tension discs (two metal discs held together with a spring) turn it down to zero, then floss between the discs with the selvage edge of a clean piece of cotton fabric and see if black gunk comes onto your fabric. If it does, then keep cleaning. Fibres and dye particles will gunk up in the discs and it should be cleaned regularly.

If your machine design makes it impossible to access these to clean, then you'll need to take it to a service technician to do.

The machine will sew a few stitches then jam up. When I pull the material out there's a lot of thread on the bottom of the material. I've re threaded both top & bottm, cleaned out the bobbin...

Hope you are re-threading with the presser foot fully up so that tension discs are open? It sounds daft but
a change of needle often helps, you may have the wrong size in for the fabric or a blunt needle. Try re-setting the tension discs. The bobbin also has a tension spring but do note where it is before you start moving it as you may need to put it back.

I have an advent DV1418A and my built in dvd player wont work when i put a CLEAN WORKING disc in it says loading then it says "no disc" please help!

The READ head is dirty or damaged...very difficult to get to the back of TV to disassemble DVD player.. clean read (light diode) head with light cleaning fulid or don't take apart & use official cleaning DVD disc. Look on web site for CD\dvd cleaning disc.It looks like a CD but has 'fuzz' or a very thin " rug" on 'read' side of disc.

My samsung ht-x200 wont play dvds or cds it just displays no disc

Have you tried cleaning the laser with a DVD Cleaning Disc or more in depth by removing the top cover and using DVD Cleaning Fluid & QTips.

If you've tried both these without success then I'm affraid that your laser has failed and in most cases even when replacement lasers are available it's not cost effective to replace it.
