Question about IBM NetVista X40 PC Desktop
Go to your Device Manager and see which specifically needs the driver.
1. Right click on "My Computer"
2. Select "Manage"
3. Click on "Device Manager"
4. On that right side you will see all the devices your computer has.
5. Click on the device category that you suspect is not working and the ones with yellow exclamations (or question mark) needs driver or correct drivers installed.
To download the drivers go to your vendors (your system model) support web site ( i.e.Dell, HP, Acer, etc ) and download the drivers unto your USB portable drive. Use a friends or other good computer to access the Internet. After that copy all drivers into your desktop ( or create a Driver folder and copy it there) . Go to that Driver folder and double click on them to execute or unzip.
Go back to your Device Manager and right click that device with yellow exclamation and update driver. You may have to point to the right location of that driver on your PC.
