Should be on the right side in a recessed portion just above the bottom of the machine. You can see it here without paying for the manual: http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/Singer_Manuals/Singer_1000&UP/6233_Instruction_Manual.htm

SOURCE: just bought a used model singer 6233 need to know

The Singer 6233 was one of the models that briefly were made using air-powered foot controls. So you aren't looking for a traditional electrical connection. Instead, your pedal cord's female end will connect onto a black male nipple, that sticks out on the right side of the machine (the side with the handwheel). Just push it on until it feels snug.

SOURCE: need operator manual also need to find power cord

Call Singer at 1-800-4singer or go to their website, www.singerco.com, and you can email them for a power cord and foot pedal, you may be able to get them to give you a free manual with a little finesse and sweet talk. I didn't see your particular manual for a free download under customer support, but who says you can't try? Good luck

How to put singer model 6233 foot pedal back together

Hello,
These machine s are mechanical wonders, always have your machine serviced by trained technician. End user servicing is not recommended, and if needed, parts will not be available to end users so take your machine in for service, repair and adjustments to sew perfectly. A new foot pedal can often be purchased on Ebay or Amazon.com just make sure it's made for your machine make and model when making this purchase.

Your question is not clear to me. If you need to work on the Foot Pedal I'd just buy a new one on eBay.

Where can I find a power cord for singer simple 3116 sewing machine?

It looks like your power cord and foot pedal are incorporated into one unit, and you'll have to replace the foot pedal to get it. You can get it for $30 at sewing parts online, http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/singer-3116-simple-sewing-machine-parts.aspx?gclid=CLTXmrLC18ECFeHm7AodBioADg, and you can also get them from eBay by doing a search on Singer Simple 3116.

Little power from foot pedal on used singer 6233

Ok I am just guessing here, as a lad i use to use my mums Singer, the peddle was intermittent & scratchy, knowing what I know now about variable speed motors I an guessing the wiper is not making contact with the carbon,
If you can take the cover off, give it a Light dusting from a air compressor, your only blowing the dust away, not to clean, Then spray with ISOPROPNOL. READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.

Foot pedal not working

Well, you are definitely getting power from the electric plug in.

Let's do some diagnostic work. Do you hear anything when you press the foot pedal? Any hum? Did you happen to leave it in bobbin winding mode?

your machine doesn't have a "sew" button for use without the pedal. So please rotate the hand wheel toward you as you press the pedal. Did the motor take over and sew?

If you know someone with a meter... have them test the pedal. (they will place probes on/in the part that plugs in which tests for shorts, etc.) If that tests ok... then we know it's something more than the pedal and it will need servicing by a Singer Tech.

All power and motor seems ok but needle shaft doesn't respond to foot pedal ... nothing happens! Help! Can't find model number but it is electric Singer 70/80's

It is probably the foot pedal. There should be a plate that gives the model # and Serial #. You can call Singer at 1-800-4singer and order or go on their site and find it by serial #. There are also sites
like www.sewingpartsonline.com and see how much a universal foot pedal is and go from there. Usually, they are about $30.
