Keep getting a E4 Code

This E4 Phenomena means "no water":
No or slow water fill (not
reaching the full level in 15 min),
therby computer sends display message "E4"
Reasons:
1) The house water tap is not open, or
2) This is the most common E4 reason- The water inlet valve (that the hose is connected to) is blocked.
3) The water pressure is too low and the flow is too weak.
Solutions;
1) Open the water tap, then push the START/PAUSE button again.
2) Clean the water inlet valve. Shut off house water supply on the wall then, unscrew (lefty loosy) each hose from the house and the machine and look for a screen and clean the junk away from the screens. You may have 1 or 2 screens depending on the hose there may be 1 screen where the hose connects to the house and another screen inside the machine valve. Then, return hoses and turn on the water pressure again, Then push the START/PAUSE button again.
3) Wait for the normal water pressure to return to the house before use.

Just had my Kenmore delivered yesterday and the water trickles in! Initially, when I moved it to warm it did come out normally, but then it also slowed to a trickle. Same if I move it to rinse. I called...

There is a wire screen filter in the water hose where it connects to the water supply. It's probably clogged with sediment from the water supply. It usually happens with the cold water only so try hot water and see if it's better.

Water is very slow coming out on hot side but okay on cold side. Teh rest of house taps work great.

Remove the cartridge and rinse it in another sink. If you have hard water, soak the cartridge in vinegar for a couple of hours.

Whole house water filter , NO water coming thru

Good morning! please try to uninstall the water filter, then observe if there's water flowing on the tube, if there's water flowing then it might be the shutoff control valve that is defective which mean that we have to replace it. best regards

Cold water is slow when filling for rinse cycle

Turn off the cold water.
Remove the cold water hose from the machine.
Look inside the cold water inlet on the machine and clean the debris from the screen.
Problem solved.

Water trickles out of sprayer head on pull out faucet.

Hi crossroadsjm,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: soaked in vinegar water but did nothing. took off spray head from hose and the water stream is very small in diameter. only 1 year old faucet. could cartidge be bad or clogged? water pressure in rest of house is fine.

It is very possible that some debrie has come up in the water and is partially clogging the faucit. For this you would have to turn the water off and disassemble the parts clearing all the small passages, a bit of wire or paper clip works. Perhaps for a pro? Toilet tank is refilling slowly.

Hi AaronYC,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumbe.

Your problem is: Installed a new American Standard Cadet 3 toilet bowl and tank at home. When you turn the water supply on, the tank refills normally and stops normally. After you flush, the refill is very slow. When it refills normally the water comes out from the bottom of the pipe (i.e. the pipe that houses the float cup) and when it is refilling slowly, it comes from the top of the pipe. Sometimes (but not always), you can shut the water supply off and when you turn it back on, the flow of water goes from slow to fast instantly - but you haven't been able to recreate this consistently.

These are the facts. American Standard has been keeping costs down by out sourceing. Their toilets are now built in third world countries and parts are made cheap. They're all doing it. Quality control is pretty good but your toilet came with a bad "ballcock". That's the refill part on the left. Because it's new, if you take the ball **** back to place of purchase they should give you new. If not, they cost less than $ 10.00 and easy to replace.

its in your cold water line valve to the washer if it works good with hot water the valve are incoming line being blocked when you turn it on the pressure comes in fast then when pressure is gone water slows down so when its off the pressure builds back up it runs fast then slow
