Hello xanxi_uki, to "Format the Sandisk;
You can (right click), or 2x click to 'open' the "Computer" from the Desktop!
This will 'open' the Computer's Hard Disk Drives.

Or you can click on the "Start Button" and 'open' the "Computer."
Once you are in the Computer Drives; find the "USB Flash Drive."

Next, (right click) to 'open' the 'shortcut menu', choose to "Format."
In the Format UDisk (?), click on the "File System" [Drop down arrow "Box"].

Choose the [NTFS] from the list !
Select 'how much' of the USB Flash Drive you want to use?
This will be in the "Allocation unit size" box !

Now, you want to choose to {Quick Format} the USB Flash Drive.

Some usb keys or flash drives have a little switch thatlocks it & makes it read only. Try looking for something like this. Or youtry following these steps:

For USBdrives:

1. Open Start -> Run...
2. type diskmgmt.msc and press enter
3. right click on the partitin you want to format (where the leter and is)
4. select 'Delete Partition...' and confirm
5. right mose button in the same place and select 'Create partition'
6. select primary partition
6. select , file format, disk leter, label etc should be all right if youleave defaults.
7. click ok

This will recreat the partition and format it in proper way.

I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa!
