SOURCE: kitchenaid oven door will not stay closed

I had the same problem on my parents Kitchenaid KEMS378GWH0 oven, the door would only close enough to keep the light on. They propped a chair against it to cook. My father replaced the hinges and it worked for about a week. He noticed that pulling outward on the door at the very bottom edge often allowed it to close enough to use.
After completely dismantling the oven to get access to the brackets that the hinges slide into, we found it was not broken. We decided to expand on the only near solution we had and find a way to make the bottom of the door 'push out'. Our solution was very simple. Remove the small metal plate that covers the door insulation. This revealed that the insulation is a braided hollow rope that is held in by small clips that push through holes in the front of the oven. We threaded some small metal rods about 3/8 inch in diameter into the hollow insulation pushed the clips back in to re-attach the insulation, replaced the metal cover plate.
It worked!

SOURCE: oven door not closing properly

If it is a drop down door with hinges on the bootom of the oven door, then it is likely to be weak door hinge springs, the usual solution is to replace both hinges.
If it is a swing open door, then the problem is related to a worn or broken door catch, or worn striker pin.

Have an amana self clean gas oven burners work but oven wont heat up? acf3375ac model

The problem is usually the igniter not reaching the correct amp draw .When the igniter does not reach the correct amp draw it may allow the gas valve to partially open or not open at all. The igniters are inexpensive and easy to replace. This video will walk you thru the correct procedure for testing an oven igniter. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.

I JUST BOUGHT A FLOOR KENMORE GAS RANGE THAT WAS A FLOOR MODEL AND THEY SAID THEY DO NOT GIVE THE MANUEL WITH IT. WHERE CAN I GET A MANUEL. IT IS A MODEL 70402 ITEM #0220402000. i BOUGHT IT AT THE SEARS IN...

You can order the paper manual from Sears by calling 1-800-252-1698. They will need the entire model number though. Here is info on where to find the model number:
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=70402&pathTaken=partSearch
You can download the manual here:
http://www.kenmore.com:80/shc/s/nb_10154_12604_NB_CCownersmanuals?adCell=WF
Again, you will need the entire model number. It should be located under the lid or on the back of the unit. It will start with three numbers followed by a dot, then many more numbers, such as:
102.24300
If you have any further questions or problem locating model number, let me know and I can help further.

Oven must be connected to the proper electrical
voltage and frequency as specified on the
model/serial rating plate. (The model/serial rating
plate is located on the oven door or on the oven
frame.)
Models rated from 7.3 to 9.6 kW at 240 volts
(5.5 to 7.2 kW at 208 volts) require a separate
40-ampere circuit. Models rated at 7.2 kW and
below at 240 volts (5.4 kW and below at 208
volts) require a separate 30-ampere circuit
