Thermador SEC302 with error F51

Tried to self clean the oven today but the error code F51 came up and it looks like it has to deal with the oven not locking. Is there a quick fix or reset that can be done? I already tried turning off the circuit breaker.

SOURCE: My thermador oven tells me error code 14

Sometimes you can unplug the unit for at least 30 minutes and reset the unit and it wont do it again.Try that first. An error code on a thermador of 14 means latch switch problems.

SOURCE: Thermador Oven SMW272 will not self clean

You need a new control board on this unit. Once the self clean goes out, your oven will soon go out and you will not be able to cook. We have parts for Thermador ovens so please give us a call at 972-859-0929 and we will ship the part out to you right away. It's so much less expensive if you repair it yourself rather than calling a service company out. AND you will be ready for all your winter meals to be hot and delicious! We look forward to working with you and hope to hear from you soon.

SOURCE: Fan works, but Oven stays at 100 degrees. Tried

On my C301 U, I found the brown connector on the right side of the oven control board P3-2 loose. It looked connected but while doing a shake test- Whoop, there it is. It is the sensor for the temp probe. If it's loose all the fans run all the time.

THERMADOR MODEL SEC302BP installed in 2006. I am getting a infrequent error code of F-64. This double oven has already been recalled due to the self cleaning mode starting a fire. do I need to pay a...

Hello,

You may have to pay a service technician out to fix this issue, if the update insulation kit was already added this could be causing the issue depending on if it was installed correctly.

This error code has to do with the air flow the fan is could have failed as well, the hall sensor that is built into the fan motor will often fail creating this issue.

I am getting an F64 on my thermador electric double wall oven after a few minutes of preheating my upper oven, and the oven turns off. What des this mean?

Hi, i found out from Thermador customer service that error code F64 means that the lower fan switch (located inside the bottom trim on the right side) is not being detected as closed. In my case, this was because the header (P4) on the Display panel had broken loose from the PC board and was no longer making contact. P4 is where the lower fan switch wires connect to the control boards (actually the display panel).

Describe your Thermador CT 130 C problem. Not heating up properly after we used self-cleaning feature. We have noticed that it is only heating up to half the temperature that it was set to.

Hi,

Welcome to FixYa.

You have not mentioned if the oven has displayed any error code so I will take that for what it is...there was none shown.

With that, the post heading has conflicting info about your model so I'll go with the most common based on the SEC302 ovens.
I`d start by looking for an over-temp cut-out tripped. Since this problem started following a self clean cycle, it leads me to believe it is just that.

Here`s what and where to look for for this,

Fortunately if it is tripped, they are the manual reset type and are accessible behind the black grill/vent just above the door and just below the control panel next to the lock latch assembly.

**Turn off the 40amp breaker at your service panel or sub-panel in the home before attempting any service...safety first**

With the power off, you should be able to remove the grill and push the red button in the center of the thermostat and that should fix your problem...as shown here,
macmarkus_108.jpg If indeed the hi-limit is tripped you`ll know immediately because you`ll feel it click as you push it down. It will look like the image below...

Ultimately it could be a faulty relay board or related to the timer, but I`d start with the hi-limit cut-out tripped first.

If the images I attached are not clear or you just want more info, I can send you a complete service manual in a "pdf" attachment, however you`d need to provide an email address to where I could send it to you.

Other than that if you call in a pro just be sure they are an authorized B/S/H/ service provider ( B/S/H/ is the parent company for Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, Siemens products ).

Let me know and I`ll watch for your reply and respond as soon as I can. Good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Self-clean turns off after 5 minutes with F2 error message

Hi MaryB,

F2 error code means that the oven temperature is too hot. You will have to replace relay board if faulty. Check and replace oven temperature sensor (RTD).
