The Loewe have only a few problems---this is not one of them---disconnect it and a cable or sat box if used from power for while and try again----its getting harder to find shops who will work on these at parts are scarce and expensive (remote wholesales for 85 dollars--I have 2 extra ones).

Very expensive set when new but if not something easy maybe let it go......

Why does it take longer for the volume of my Protron pltv-32cm to go on each time we turn the tv on?

Proton 32, most plasma and lcd TV's have internal boards a few control the stability or video display these secondary boards are controlled by a main board. if your having sound or tv function issues the main board may be defective. is it worth fixing? that depends on the service center and what they are estimating it to cost. it is repairable by replacing the main board and that's if your screen itself is not the factor yet also consider the price for the repair vs. the price of a new set. you can get this part at auction sites or buy it online and repair it yourself or with a someone who understands electronics that would save you some cash. best regards..

Control lever will not stay down

Unless you have power switch on to the toaster, the level will not stay down. Ensure you have main power available!
If the unit is powered, check that the 'toast darkeness' level is set accordingly - it is this 'thermostat' that determines when to eject the toast: if you checked that you have power and that the darkness level is not set to zero and it still does not work, then it is time to get a new toaster! If not under warranty, it is probably not worth trying to get it repaired.

Bios update

The servers revisions were not appropriate for that product model. Flashed BIOs, if meant for another system will no longer work as the instruction set is now compromised. If re-flashing the BIOs with the CORRECT version adjusts the problem, its is worth trying.

It does not appear to be reversing. If it was it should have a lever right above the switch. Not worth much either since parts are no longer available to repair it.

My TV set turns on but won't stay on longer than a few seconds

These sets are really expensive to work on. Most likely you have a bad "D" board. I have never had much success repairing these down to component level. Have a repair shop check it out. These are expensive tv's and well worth a check out charge.

It might be a problem in the set's power supply. This could be an affordable fix, but probably not cheap. A lot depends on where you live in relation to a repair facility. Google shows a lot of electronics companies around the country advertising in-home repair. If the problem is in the plasma display module, it might not be worth repairing.
