Probably background processes. Sometimes when you keep a game running, it takes up CPU power and hence, may heat up the phone a bit. Also, environmental factors may come in e.g. sunlight.

Xperia t not charging

Check the charges, the charger cable, its connectors and the connector on the phone. Everything should be clean and shiny. Not a speck of dust is allowed in any of the connectors. Use pressured air (in a can) to blow dust or a piece of paper out any contact. Never use sharp or metallic tools to pul out debris.
Perhaps you should also borrow a charger from someone else, to exclude the charger as cause of the problem.
If it is the phone, don't try to repair this yourself, if you don't have the skills.

Why my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is over heating and is draining the battery

my arc s had the same problem when using the internet for long periods. its never caused any problems but if its running really slowcheck which apps you have running and shut down the ones which arent important, and update your operating system to the patest version. my battery used to last round 8 hrs now well over a day. i make sure i only run the apps im using, keep my display brifhtness low and only connect to the internet when using it, this should improve your battery life no end. it will still get hot if your using it for long periods, its no danger but you can place a playing card inside against the battery which will help reduce the heat you actually feel. hope this helps much love CHRISPY

Water damage and the screen is not responding

The phone may still be damp inside. Try using a blow dryer to finish drying up the moisture in your phone.

Touch screen problem

If you're still having touch-screen problems with your Tipo, you might need the screen calibration patch.
Download this file:
http://www.4shared.com/rar/3p6YulVl/ST21i_calibrate.html
The file is the official screen calibration patch from Sony for issues with the touchscreen of the 2012 range phones (I'm 100% sure it works on: Tipo, Tipo Dual, Miro and Xperia J)

I have Xperia X 10 mini from Sony Ericsson. I left it charging overnight as I do every night since I've got it. And today when I woke up, I took the phone and instead of it being fully charged and

Chances are your phone got too hot during the night and overcharged the Lithium Ion battery. If those batteries are exposed to too much heat then they won't have the battery life they used to have. You need to purchase a replacement battery or contact your wireless carrier to see about getting another one.
